What a nice home style restaurant! The food was delicious and good portions! The server was very kind and attentive and the prices were very good as well. If you're in holland it's definitely worth looking into!

There are lots of good Mom & Pop’s breakfast places in Holland. Going out for breakfast or coffee seems like it’s a cultural pastime here. But Southside Inn offers a solid balance of lower cost than other options without a lower quality of food or service. Table service is offered with a smile. Over the years we’ve pretty much tried everything on the menu. Everything is good. More often than other options, my sons and I tend to order their farmer’s platter, breakfast skillet, or 2 eggs + meat + hash browns + pancakes. Their toast is good (especially the raisin) but please try their pancakes!

Great food even better people staff and most other patrons
It's been several weeks since dining at Southside. The reason for that is I feel the food is subpart. Service isn't the best. Takes forever to get coffee refills in the smallest cups I've ever seen. And who heard of cutting up the scrambled eggs to a point where it looks like splintered wood. Waffles that come with fruit topping get hardly any topping. Just not worth it.
