Popped in for lunch while in the area, and it was solid! They had their brunch menu out, which was mostly some breakfast foods and sandwiches. It did have some unique flavors and items. My mom and I split a sandwich (comes with a side of potatoes or fries) and it was a good amount for us (we weren't super hungry). The Sleeping With the Fishes sandwich (soft shell crab sandwich) was tasty! Was a whole soft shell crab (legs and all) on brioche with maple aioli, arugula, tomato, avocado, and ranch. The maple aioli stood out and was an interesting sweet (but not too sweet) element. The potatoes were good, though we had ordered the fries (all good though). Water is served in mini mason jars and a full drink menu available as well (beer, wine, cocktails). The entrance took us a sec to find, as we thought it was on Grand River. It's actually via the back alley behind Grand River off Walnut, and you walk down the stairs there to the main entrance. From there, you enter the bar area first and then it seems like the restaurant kind of twists and turns into other spaces. Cool basement bar kind of vibe.

I really hate giving bad reviews but we vote with our $$ and mine is not going to be spent at 2 Fog's. The service was great. Ethan, our server, did a great job, as he has in the past, of waiting on us. The problem is with the prices being through the roof when only 2-3 months ago they were tolerable. I don't mind spending money on a nice dinner out, but I don't need to single-handed make payroll for the week with my meal. I know, the economy and inflation really stink. The wine pours were ... ugh, who even wants to report this about a restaurant. But cheap is cheap, and it feels like 2 Fog's is struggling. I'll wait to hear through the grapevine that things have improved before returning. I'm so sad because there's such ambiance and potential to be a great restaurant.

LOVE me some 2FOGS! It's actually kind of become our go-to dinner out whenever I don't want to cook. Like our second kitchen...LOL The atmosphere is cool. Set-up like a little speakeasy which is fun. The food is ALWAYS amazing! My son loves the Tuskers burger. My husband usually has that mushroom chicken thing or a regular burger and I generally opt for the salmon. The portion sizes are perfect so you don't either have to leave feeling completely full and bloated or with a bunch of leftovers that you paid for and are probably going to throw out in a couple days. The wait staff is amazing! Once our waitress even loaned my husband her readers so he could read the menu...LOL Our FAVE waiter however is Trevor. He always dies such a great job! The perfect level of personality and checking in on you without being overbearing. He's great! The manager usually swings by at some point and checks on you as well. Not all places do that. And we go often enough that I know it's a regular thing. Overall one of the best places around. :-)

My husband and I LOVE 2 FOGS! The food is always a step above and the mules are DELICIOUS! The space itself is so fun and inviting and we choose to come here any chance we can! Even our kids love it!
We had the Mac and Cheese and Mushroom Stroganoff. Food was ok, bread served with it had a taste like the oven or broiler it was cooked in. Bar area is nice and has a unique feel compared to other restaurants in the area. Will come back to have a drink or cocktail at bar.

This was my first time at this establishment. I was there with friends for the brunch menu. I had the burger and it was effin delicious. Our server Paige was super attentive and answered numerous questions we had about other dishes and the restaurant. I would definitely recommend checking this place out and I can't wait to return.

I entered in the back, my first time here, and I was confused about whether I had gone to the right place. Once I found my way downstairs, I could take in the brick walls and relaxed atmosphere.The service was excellent. My only minor complaint was that the food was ok, not as good as was hyped, but maybe I am overly picky.

This place is fantastic. Next time I'm back in town I will definitely be stopping here. Make sure that you know how to get there or you ask for directions because the entrance is not on the main Street. It's in the back alley so it's kind of cool. It's almost like a hidden gem but everybody knows where it isThey had some of the best spirits selection I've ever seen and the bartender was fantastic. When I visited it was the night before St. Patty's Day so it was a little maybe busier than usual, but I met some fantastic people and we had a great time, shared some laughs, shared some drinks and shared some stories and the portobello burger was unbelievably good.If you're drinking quality booze, don't be surprised when you get a hefty bill.

I've been there twice before for dinner. The food was very good. Service was also very good. The ambiance was noisy and the tables crowded. Next time I'll try a quieter time of day, probably early dinner. Good restaurant!
