Beer is terrible. Atmosphere is just as bad. Don't waste your time. If it wasn't for the food trucks they have nothing.

Ate from a Mexican food truck next door in parking lot. Great tacos and roasted corn. Asian truck was not very good. Food undercooked and tasteless.

A week or so ago this brewery had live music. They were charging 10 bucks to listen. My mom and dad stopped to get a hot dog at a food truck not in the tent, my dad a beer and my mom wanted wine. A woman who worked there was amazing and when my dad said they did not want to listen to the band just wanted to stop for a hot dog and drinks the woman was super helpful and even grabbed the head brewer to talk to my dad. So my dad being who he is was ready to spend money there happily. He explained that they just wanted a hot dog and drinks and she was more than happy to say "YES" BUT was told if they wanted wine they had to go to the back to get some and then could come back to the area that had picnic tables near the food truck. My dad walked back to get the glass of wine for my mom and the woman at the bar told them that if they wanted a glass of wine they had to pay the 10 dollars for the cover for the band, when my dad explained that they weren't there for the band and would not be in the tent, she said she didn't care and then her and her friends behind the bar finished off their own cocktails.Now what they didn't know is my dad is not only a retired head chef of most of the high end restaurants in Northern Michigan he also is a huge promoter of places like this and his word of mouth means something. My father would never be the one to boast about his accomplishments, and he is not rude so he just walked out and waved to the original woman who had impressed him so much. I am my fathers daughter and work in the food industry, when he told me what happened I asked him if I could write a review. WE both understand that summers are hard here in Michigan and we all work long hours, but to be treated like that was not ok. Especially when we all know your not supposed to be drinking behind the bar. I wanted to at least give two stars for the woman and the Brew Master who were so kind to my parents. They really did appreciate it.Also my parents then moved on to a Biker Bar and my mom donated to their non profit and my father bought raffle tickets too! So its not about the money its about how people are treated.

Heading to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, we decided to stop in Indian River and try out a new brewery! What a great business model: a welcoming taproom, outdoor beer garden and wonderful food trucks. Not to mention excellent beers! We will definitely be back for a pint or two on our way home!

Nice little Northern Michigan brewery that's well worth checking out if you're in the area.The Mexican Cousin Cerveza is light, crisp and refreshing. It pairs well with the absolutely stellar tacos being served by La Casa de Rosas!

This is a fantastic Brewery!We have been to a lot of breweries in Wisconsin and Minnesota and this is probably our first in Michigan! A new favorite!The Mexican food truck had a very good quesadilla! I tried the pork and pineapple ?!I also had the pineapple Seltzer from the Brewery!There's a Hot Dog Food Truck on site too!Lots of options!
