“Wallah one of the best Palestinian dishes served in the state of Michigan. From living in almost every corner and center within the state (including Dearborn), I have not had tasted middle eastern food so authentic yet true to the new generation of Palestinians. The servers and chefs were great, nice people who were down to sit and talk. I also ordered a caramel latte, and I truly mean it when I say, this coffee was so tasty so delicious, I can’t ever step foot in another coffee shop again. None will compare. Please trust me when I say, you NEED to go here.“

“We had our first breakfast here recently and discovered that they know how to cook eggs. A skill that cooking schools prize highly. We love it. Returned for another breakfast with our daughter and her fiancee today. Food was once again delicious and the server was very attentive. Looking for a delicious breakfast in Traverse City? Go to Red Spire...you will not be disappointed!“

“The Asian Wrap is my favorite product of theirs. Fantastic spinach tortilla and great balance of flavors. Ask them for the soy glaze when ordering! Everything is so fresh and they don't cut corners like other places downtown. Keep up the good work!“

“Under new ownership! Thank god. The last owners drove customers away... I haven't been back in 2 years... Went back the other day. The new owners are super friendly. They had tons of bread in stock in the late afternoon. Looking forward to having a great local bread store again.“

“I was staying at the Baywatch, and they only have Folgers coffee or Keurig. I was very glad to find this place and get a cup of coffee. The gentleman who assisted me was very helpful and polite. They have Stevia available, which I appreciated, and half and half. The coffee was great!“

“Frenchie's pastrami sandwich is truly one of the only things that makes living in Traverse City worth it. The bread is fresh, the pastrami is astonishingly juicy, and there's something about the mustard I can't express through words. Some say Frenchie, the man himself, is mean, or brash at the very least. There may be some truth to these claims. My dad says he once gave Frenchie a cooler and was never thanked. He yelled at my grandma once, but I'm sure he had his reasons. When he picks up the phone, you can tell how he's feeling by the way he says the word "Frenchie's." You can hear the 15 years of owning a restaurant in his voice. You would probably yell at people too, if you had his job.But none of his transgressions matter when the sandwich is melting in your mouth. I think Frenchie is delightful. Frankly, I like that you never really have to guess what kind of day he's having. It's almost what I imagine living in New York is like.Frenchie will always have my business, and my respect. I hope he never changes.“

“First time to the cafe. They are under staff, the waitress couldn't make us a coffee because the coffee guy was on a run. They wouldn't train her on to make coffee so we had to wait over 20 mins for him to get back. The food was good and a bit pricey.“

“I have yet to meet a student at Interlochen that doesn't have at least two or three good things to say about the Melody Freeze, or MoFro in the 'student dialect'. I can confirm, after numerous firsthand experiences, that all the good things the students say are true!I mean really, how can you go wrong, it's got thick milkshakes, good coffee, fruity smoothies, wonderful soft serve ice cream, delicious pizza and so many more things it's easy to lose count... The prices are 'reasonableish', the staff is friendly & fast and the things you hear the students talking about while you wait in line with them are usually worth the few $ you're spending anyway! If you stay at the Stone Hotel, on campus, they give you a token to use at the MoFro, I highly suggest using it, no matter the Season. Whether staying on campus or dropping in for the day, you will be pleasantly surprised by the selection and happy with whichever treat you choose, I'm nearly certain of it. Enjoy!Kid-friendliness: This would be a great place for kids. The menu is easy to see, there is plenty of room to run around while waiting and most everything you can order is filled with sugary goodness...Parking: The parking on campus is plentiful, but not near the Melody Freeze as it's a 'walk up' kinda place, at least 100ft from the nearest parking spot...Wheelchair accessibility: The Melody Freeze and most of the Interlochen campus would be considered wheelchair accessible.“
