“Great selection of different styles of hotdog fixings. The staff was great, fast, courteous, and welcoming.The place was clean from what I could see in the kitchen, and the dining area was exceptional clean.The only improvement I would suggest, is to use a poppy seed bun and use more authentic toppings for it. Other than that everything I tried was absolutely delicious!“
“Saw the reviews and spoke with the locals and this is where they told me to go for an authentic Jackson style coney. Soft bun, hotdog with a snap the right hit of mustard covered with finely chopped coney meat and a lot of finely cut onions.It’s not a Lafayette coney or Flint. It has its own flare and was very good.Booth and bar seating. Interior is dated with a throw back diner atmosphere. Spunky servers and friendly staff. They have limited hours and do accept credit cards for payments. NO TIPS can be put on the card. CASH TIPS only. I even got one of their VCI coney kits to take home to the family. I would recommend.* CLOSED 12/23/23 to 01/08/24 for the holidays. *Parking: Limited street parking. Small lot behind for parking.“
“We had a good meal here. I had the Doll n' Bacon Double Deluxe combo. The beef was tasty and I was surprised with the bun. It was an unexpected treat. They call it an American Milk Bun. My date had the Corned Beef Rueben. It was good, yet did not really stand out as something special. The fries were great. I would visit again.“
“Was in Jackson for a film shoot, or else I’d find myself here on the regular. Nice retro drive in environment with a constant rotation of cars. Their coney dog was good, but on my second visit I took my chances on an Olive Burger and was not disappointed! Really good classic burgers, dogs, and awesome onion rings… don’t forget to ask for the ring sauce. Their root beer is nice and creamy, especially as a float!“
“Mystery diner: Another fun place. Beautiful inside. I love the decor. Food was good and fast. I had a burger and fries. It was good. It wasn't remarkable or memorable, it was a burger.I didn't do a 5 star on the food because it is basic food. It's good. It severed its purpose. But I wasn't wowed by flavor or anything of the sort. Typical bar food and a fun environment to enjoy it in.Staff are super friendly and happy to help. Everything was spotless and clean.Certainly better than a fast food joint. Maybe some of the other items are staples. I wasn't overly impressed with anything I saw to move me to want to try it.“
