Came in before a concert. Sat at the bar. Took a bit for the bartender to come up to us. Had a bowling league going on. Asked her how late they were open and she said 11pm last call will be 10:45pm. We were there at 10:30 and it was empty and doors were locked. This was a thur night. She should get her times right or just say it depends on customers.

Great little dive bar / bowling alley bar Great barmaid and staff. Food was hot and tasty (typical bar food) but nonetheless good food. A great location before and after a event at the nearby wings center.

Good food in general, excellent service, good prices maybe it is a four-starVegetarian options: French fries, Tater tots, deep fried cheese balls, other appetizers I believe they have vegetarian option on sandwiches but not sureParking: Good parking but the parking lot needs a little smoothing out

My bartending coworker and I came here tonight to relax after a long day of slinging drinks at the Growlers' field for the Mac and Cheese Fest. Our bartender tonight, Kaya (sp?), was amazing. Her personality and positive attitude lifted the entire bar from the floor to the ceiling. She deserves a raise, a promotion, or at least a gift card to her favorite clothing store.We live in Fort Wayne, Indiana, but will be back at Back Alley, because of Kaya, whenever we are back in Kalamazoo.

Came here for one of my husband's coworkers last day at his job, so there was a huge group. My husband went up to the bar to ask for another drink and I s*** you not the lady WORKING behind the bar...... said to him "you should have ordered something with your group". VERY RUDE. First off, you don't all to a customer like that at all, ever. Second, what does it matter where or when he orders another drink??? He's ordering, your getting business. Make him another drink. How ridiculous. Horrible service. HORRIBLE. We waited at the table 15 minutes for a waitress to come and ask if he wanted another drink. No one came so he went up to the bar.... Never again.
