Great little place with a great brewery. I love their beer, but even more, I love their approach to being a business, a community builder, and inclusivity - they even let ME in!

We stopped here on the way to a wedding. I'm so glad that we did. The food was great as were the staff and atmosphere. We had the beer soaked brat, wings, tacos and a chicken salad. Everyone loved their choices! We also had a flight of beer and they were all good. I definately want to go back and enjoy an outside concert sometime.

Bell's has creative sour options and plenty of unique beer. Food is wonderful for pub style. The outdoor space is wonderful and has a great venue for music.

Stopped in for lunch on our way home from Chicago. The food was incredible! The beer was, too, of course. We will definitely be back to try more.Parking: There is limited parking at the building itself, but an extra lot across the street with plenty of spaces.

Stopped the Friday before memorial day with a friend, and we had a great time sampling beers and eating good burgers, bartenders were great and prompt, place looks very sharp, clean and well kept, just wished we could've watch a show or something. If you are in the area, definitely make it a stop. Driving back to Michigan next month, we'll be there again, for sure

The friendliest staff I have encountered at a brewery. The exterior and patio are run-down but don't let that deter you from going inside to enjoy the spacious former train maintenance building with its high brick ceilings. Ideal for a group to sit down for a meal or just going solo for a quick beer. Had the Light-Hearted Ale with the Beer-ria Pork Tacos. Perfect for a hot summer day. The dipping sauce will clear those sinuses!TIP: LGBTQ friendly

A beer lovers Mecca that everyone should try. Bell's is high-end, very clean and the food is great. This cherry bomb burger with a fried egg is my go to! For 30 years I've enjoyed this downtown Kalamazoo pub. The beer garden is great in the summer and they have a great night scene with awesome national acts. The pub only beer offerings are unique with many exclusive single run beers. Need good stuff head to Bell's!

This place is great. It is absolutely the best value for your money in Kalamazoo. First off the beer is always amazing. I tried the Mead this time and it was great. The wings were fresh and full of flavor. The Smash burger was perfectly cooked and hit the spot. Be careful when ordering the spicy fries. I usually eat very spicy food and they were hard for me to handle. The waitress did a great job and was very friendly and attentive. I will go back every time I’m in Kalamazoo. Dinner for two with an appetizer and beer was $50!!!! What a deal.

Great place to enjoy all of the Bell's craft beers. Can't beat Two Hearted. Their porters and stouts are great too.

I am NOT a beer drinker. But I love coming here for the beer garden and the atmosphere. You can't go wrong at bells!

I had the sausage burger which was good but the fries are skinny and hard. My wife had the Mac&cheese. She's a little picky about fat but there were huge chunks of pork belly fat in it. I was surprised she didn't care for it so I tasted it and sure enough there was zero cheese flavor. More like Mac&Milk. I do like not having a waitress.

Beer is reasonably priced. Beer varieties are many, and fantastic. The staff are all great workers- The food; onion rings are some of the best I’ve ever had. The wings are smoked and then cooked to perfection. Highly recommend a visit.

Great beer, great food....and oh yeah, GREAT BEER!I'm not from the area, but usually stop in here while passing through for a yearly trip in the Kzoo area. It's a large area (open space near the bar, plenty of seating in various locations).I usually arrive with a large group, so we're seated in the open space area by the bar. Most times, you walk up to the bar to order your beer and food. They'll bring the food out to you when its ready so you don't have to wait. In other cases we've been waited on as well but it just depends on how busy things are.As you can imagine for a brewery like this, they have a large selection of their own beer that they rotate through from time to time. Just because one is out of stock on a given day, doesn't mean that it'll be out permanently. The bar food they offer pairs nicely with their beers too. My favorite, which is currently a Special entree, is the chicken parm sandwich. It. Is. Massive. I took 6 bites into just the chicken before I hit bread, no joke! I've had burgers and other appetizers too.Fantastic service here, even on it's busiest of nights. Definitely make Bell's a stop within your evening for good food and drink.

I’ve wanted to come this way a very long time & call in to Bell’s. I was glad I did. The staff was very friendly.I’ve worked in a brewery & cringe whenever someone orders a flight. However, guilty as hell your honor & had a nice flight served with a genuine smile & kind words. We didn’t eat dinner. We saw some dishes & it looked good. They have a back room events type area big enough for a worthy small concert venue. This night The Arena Rock Band or similar name (70’s & 80’s cover band) was sound checking for a sold out show later.I closed out my flight with a full pour of HopSlam. We visited the store after, got some carry out, swag & left happy. The industrial feel of the area as well as being right on the Rail Road Tracks made it seem that much cooler.FYI ~ They like you (at least when we called in) to get table, grab the number on the table & bring it to the counter & then the food is delivered to your table identified by your number. The good thing is you walk away with your beer & don’t have to wait for it to be delivered.

Bell's Brewery is at the top of my list for Michigan craft beers. We always make it a point to stop here when we travel to the west side of the state. We stopped in for lunch and had their smash patty burgers and fries which were awesome. The menu isn't extensive but above average for bar food. Beers were awesome as usual. The sweet potato spice red ale was in season so I went with that. My wife had a flight of beers which included mango habanero Oberon which had a good kick. We stopped in the general store to get beers for our Chicago trip. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. They have general store releases and build your own six picks which gives you the chance to trialtheir different beers. I highly recommend stopping in at Bell's if you are in the Kalamazoo area. Cheers!
