Somehow had never been here despite living very close and being a huge nerd. The salad, mozzarella sticks, and every dinner item felt homemade and high quality. Highly, highly recommend!!

First time visiting yesterday, and it was a good experience. The waitress we had was very attentive and the food was good. The sauce of the pizza does have a sweetness to it, but it was very good and I'd recommend trying it. They also offer white or wheat pizza dough which I found interesting.

Went there Thursday night. Walked into the place pretty empty. No one at the front so walked and sat down. No one stopped by. After 15 min said something to person cleaning tables. Waited another 10 min then walked to the front where the "hostess stand" is. Waited 3 min. Person back by the kitchen behind the bar finally said something and told my story, said they sent someone over. About 5 min later the girl comes over and first thing they say is you typically need to wait to be seated. I'm sorry but there were only 4-5 tables taken in the entire place. The waitress the walked by us several times could have just said something. Had use to go there years ago and always liked the food. Just was really poor service even if I did just walk in. If it was busy I would understand but wasn't even a third full.

This place is a Kalamazoo classic. You should stop in for a beer and some cheese sticks with dill dip.

I went to Bilbo's with my daughter on a visit to Western Michigan University. I remembered Bilbo's pizza from my college days at Michigan State, so I thought we'd try it out. We got an order or Stix which were awesome and a pepperoni pizza. The pizza was meh, much worse than what I remembered. The dough was very doughy and seemed undercooked although I couldn't see real profs of that, so I can't explain what was wrong other than just not tasting good. I would recommend for the Stix alone and maybe some beers. The place had cute friendly waitresses and a nice vibe.

The pizza is amazing and our waitress was the best! We love Bilbos!Parking: Tons of parking availableKid-friendliness: There aren't play spaces, but kods, individuals, and families are all always there. It's a big space with plenty of seating. We meet up and have birthday parties there frequentlyWheelchair accessibility: Yes, although the doors are not automatic, and idk about the bathrooms, they have wheelchair parking, ramps, and spacious aisles with plenty of tables

Came to bilbo's on a Saturday before a WMU hockey game and it was the perfect place for a pregame dinner. We had 10 in our group and it took us about 10 minutes to get seated. For reference, we arrived at 4pm and the hockey game started at 6. We felt like this was a good amount of time. They seem to be short staffed right now but our server was apologetic about the wait and we felt like she still did great with how many tables she had. They have a couple of in house beers on tap. I got the raspberry wheat ale. I didn't totally love it but it wasn't the worst. We all split 2 family size salads, a large order of cheese sticks, and got about 4 medium sized pan pizzas for the table. Lots of options/toppings and crust types so everything was totally different. The spinach pan pizza with wheat crust was awesome! I would definitely order this again. The cheese bread was also delicious, especially dipped in ranch. The prices all seemed very fair and we had leftovers to take home as well.
