Food was great, drinks were delicious, overall great experience. Will be back. We had the calamari and banana peppers, their tartar sauce really complimented the appetizer well. We also did the French onion dip with chips, loved it especially their house chips. I did the pizza pot pie (Copycat) and the wife did the Mac n cheese with bacon and caramelized onions. I very much enjoyed the pizza, the pizza sauce is a little sweeter but worked great. The bacon in the mac was definitely the main flavor, even if there wasn't bacon on the fork. Wife wished the caramelized onions were cut bigger or there were more of em...but she still liked it. I had the new fashion drink and one of the boozy hot chocolates, both were a great choice. I definitely recommend this place.

I noticed there were flies swarming all around the bar area - fruit flies or something?I see other reviews talk about dirty tables and glasses; I am disappointed I didn't consider this before eating here. The wings were okay, but $13 for 5 wings is a bit expensive - especially when you are having to swat way fruit flies.The pizza is okay, but not necessarily worth the price. Bartender was overworked and service was slow. Mediocre experience.

Well known for its pizza and burgers, but the tavern macaroni and cheese is also spectacular, as is the homemade chicken noodle soup. An excellent selection of beer on tap as well as bottled beer will enhance your dining experience. Save room for cheesecake, but if you decide to take it home for a late dessert, consider holding the whipped cream topping, which won't travel well.

Today February 23,2024 my husband was undergoing a procedure at Bronson hosp. Having to remain Flat and asleep......I set off to have lunch in downtown Kal. I was welcomed by a great staff and given a clean, soft seat which I requested.Being a Vegetarian for 46 yrs I often opt for the Portobellosandwich, if it sounds creative and delicious. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST PORTOBELLO SANDWICH I HAVE ENJOYED.....in 46 yrs. It was awesome and I so want others to GO FOR IT !!!My server Natalie, although probably a 50 age difference between us, was attentive, personable and loved having conversation from someone from a different generation. We found much in common and I so enjoyed sharing how she embraces life, challeges and serving others.GREAT FOOD & GREAT SERVICE.....I definitely will be back !!Carpe Diem.Sue ?Vegetarian options: PORTOBELLO MUSHROOM SANDWICH IS THE BEST IVE HAD IN 46 YEARS !!!

All of us enjoyed our food. I got the mac n cheese and was only able to eat half. My friends both got chicken tortilla bowls and were happy. They also got caramel apple cider and boozy hot chocolate. Only small complaint was that the waitress didn't check on us more.
