Delicious food but I have eaten here 3 times and gotten sick within 12 hours or less. I even ordered 3 different items, so I suspect it's the way you handle the food or the cook. Not coming back.

Ive been going to El Gallo for about 8 years now. Food has always been BEYOND EXCELLENT, literally never had anything bad and it’s the only place that has good chipotle chicken. Now don’t get me wrong, sometimes food has been off and not tasted 100% amazing like usual but lately it’s just straight up not good. The chipotle chicken has been nasty and a weird orange color, the salsa doesn’t taste the same and the spicy red sauce just tastes spicy, there’s no flavor. It’s been like this the last 4 times I’ve been and the waiter who’s been there awhile swears the recipe for the chipotle chicken hasn’t changed. Can’t find anywhere that compares to what this place used to be but I hope one day they get it together and start making good quality authentic food again. ?

I have been going here for years and it's sad the fall of quality this last time I went. We were told we could pick up in 15 mins so I thought it would be fresh. It was not. My enchiladas were dry, little sign of Verde sauce, but overloaded with cheese and sour cream (not bad if I didn't think it was trying to mask the other flavors). Burrito was soggy with little ingredients. We were told there was rice and beans in the burrito but they're wasn't. Really just a miss all around.

Best Mexican food I've had since living in Texas! Prices are amazing. Everything we had was fresh and super tasty. I'm already planning my next order. Elote, horchata, and the quesadilla de maiz with chorizo were delicious. So glad we found this gem.

The food in this restaurant is very good. Then why not a great review call in phone orders in my experience is never right. Forgotten items, wrong items and cold food. For a sit down restaurant is is awesome but take out is another story.
