This place has one the best pizzas I've had hands down. On of my top 3 in SW Michigan. The service is just as wonderful as the food. First time experience was and will be unforgettable.

Pizza was disappointingly mediocre. Tasted like a low-quality frozen pizza that was microwaved. Will not order from here again, there are far better options around.

First time going to Godfather's Pizza and at first the place look deserted. But then I went in the server was very polite and delightful. Food what I would describe as delicious and the apple pie pizza was out of this world. Would go again.

StarksIMC Breaking Barriers

I ordered 2 Godfather’s pizza and when I got home it was burnt. When I spoke with Mary she said I am come pick one up. I told her to have it delivered and she can get the pizza that is burnt. When Mary the manager/supervisor saw how far I lived away from Godfather’s she said it wasn’t fair for them to deliver but I can get into my car and come get it.I asked to speak with Ben the other manager. Godfather’s hung up on me 5 times and had me holding over 20 minutes. Finally Ben answered the phone. Immediately he said I didn’t want to comply. I told Ben how do I not want to comply when you have not spoken to me?Ben, manager then lied saying he just got to work. I explained the situation and he said he wasn’t doing anything to make this right. Ben said there is no one I can talk to because the complaint stops with him. I asked if he was the owner and he said no but Deb loves me and nothing will happen to me. Not to mention we have been in business for over 40 years and you can’t touch us because we are not a franchise. I asked Ben how long has he been with the company and he said 2 years. I informed Ben that tge previous managers are who built tge company. Ben got upset and said I am going to hang up on you. Then he hung up the phone. What happened to customer service? I will not purchase food from this place again.

I was out with my 6year old daughter she asked for pizza it was awesome. I had never been to Godfather's pizza before. While walking in I notice how clean it was and the next thing I seen and hurd was the cashier kindness.Which made me feel comfortable. I recommend any and all to go to the godfather's Pizza on Cork Street in Kalamazoo Michigan.Thank you. For being so welcoming to me and my daughter.

It's a good sign when you enter a restaurant and the first thing you see is employee at the counter hanging up the phone while commenting, "Finally it's over. Forty minutes to order a pizza that we take 20 minutes to make."I have to admit we have some nostalgic feelings about Godfather's Pizza. It's the first pizza I ever ate (outside of those frozen monstrosities our parents heated up for us when we were children and didn't know any better). When my girl & I were dating in college, when there were Godfather's Pizzas to be found in Grand Rapids & Battle Creek & Kalamazoo, we tended to favor the dark, quiet site on Kilgore. A medium pizza and a pitcher of soda for less than $10 was easy on our limited student budgets. When Kilgore closed down, we went to the Godfather's Pizza on Drake & Westnedge. When that one closed down, we started going to Cork Street. We went pretty regularly up - loved the dinner buffets - until COVID, and then never went back. Until last night.Godfather's pizzas had a distinct taste or flavor just as Bilbo pizzas do, or Jet pizzas, or Mancino's pizzas, or any maker of pizzas. I suppose a signature taste gives a maker of pizza an advantage. It's a hook. The customer recognizes a taste he likes, and he keeps coming back for more. More often than not, it's what is in the tomato sauce. There is some kind of proprietary blend of spices in the tomato sauce that is in everything: the pizza, the calzones, the lasagna, everything. So no matter what items you like on your pizza, the sauce is always there and always the same. We ordered a large pizza with original crust, with ground beef, pepperoni, green peppers, & mushrooms. The pizza came out hot in 20 minutes, looking as we remembered Godfather's pizzas looked. But the distinctive flavor was absent. It was just tomato sauce. So it was a serviceable pizza. But not a great pizza. Godfather's has a tabletop soda dispenser that reminds me of the Coca Cola Freestyle soda dispensers that were showing up in fast food restaurants pre-COVID (and just as quickly disappeared once COVID made people cautious about using soda dispensers). I don't know if this one works with an app, but it seeemed to have dozens of choices, including a few I didn't recognize, but the ice dispenser was broken, so nearby, on the counter, was a silver mixing bowl full of ice and a plastic spoon. So we could all touch the same spoon to get our ice for our glasses. That soda dispenser was by far the newest thing in the building; everything else inside looked the same: old & tired. Nope, no reason to return.
