Holy smokes! If you want some good unique food, this is the place. We got the hot honey gated mac and loaded jerk fries. Even though I was full, I still finished every single bite. This was definitely worth it and definitely worth any and all hype. We want to come back and try even more from the menu another time. Check it out! You will not be disappointed!

The food is just not worth the prices. The noodles for my jerk fettuccine were overcooked and were bland. This is not my first time eating here, the first time I had no complaints but the yams are a little different because they weren’t sweet and the dressing was okay. I’m used to getting more for your money in Chicago or having more flavor so again I just think the prices should come down.

My husband picked up the catfish for him and jerk chicken for me and we both got greens and mac. Mine came with rice. Every single bit of our meals were amazing. Even the rice which I feel is sometimes a throw away side was sooooo flavorful. Tons of food and extremely high quality. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about anything we had.

I’ve been all over the country and to no exaggeration Gregs is one of the best soul food restaurants I’ve been to. Almost every time you come inside, it is Greg himself cooking the food and handling a lot of the work. This man is a great cook and a hands on owner, more businesses need to be like Greg’s Gourmet in that aspect. The food is made with love and is always cook to order and super hot. My personal favorite is the Wings special he does on every Wednesday with some loaded yams. Do not sleep on Greg’s if you’re in southern Michigan‼️
