This place is like bathing in all your senses, yet there's so many things about this place that are just right. There's an extensive menu that caters to all tastes and spice-level preferences, the smell of OH YAYA! hits you when you step in. The music isn't too loud , or too over the top-obnoxious. Their furnishings, decor, and artwork are as authentic, rustic, and homemade from scratch as their menu. You'll leave full, with leftovers for your fridge and your wallet, plus a smile on your face, cuz I said so!

2 star because the food was great but negative 10 stars because when we first got there the host just mumbled everything at us and handed us a card with a QR code and no menu after asking we learned that the QR code was the menu tried to read the menu it is extremely very inconvenient and after asking 3 times they finally brought us a physical menu after giving us very rude looks then they proceeded to ignore us for the next 10 minutes when they finally brought us chips and salsa the chips were covered in the nasty greasy stuff from the bottom of the fryer and an almost empty jar of salsa we had to constantly flag the waitress down and ask for a refill on our water and then the waitress started to just leave cups of water on the table leaving empty cups last time I ate here it was nothing like this I will not be going back and eating here again

They don't honor the specials on their website. They claim it isn't their site even though there is a picture of the building and inside while the web page says Los Amigos 2024 on it. Manager called me a liar when I asked him about it. The one on Gull road is way better, I will drive across town to that one before I ever go back to this one.

Do not use their online ordering system on their page for this location. I can't speak for the other locations though. Apparently it's out of service/outdated according to the employee I spoke to. I placed an online order (thankfully it doesn't ask for a form payment at the end, it just said to pay at the counter), and upon pickup, they told me that they don't do online orders and that the previous owner never took down that webpage. I had to place a to go order in person and waited an additional 10 mins. Food was okay. I ordered a steak burrito and it tasted like any other typical burrito at a Mexican restaurant. Mediocre at best. It does come with chips and salsa. I didn't know Little Mexico next door had closed down so that's why I ordered here.

I have visited this location several times. This last occasion I wasn't that impressed. The young lady asked what i would like to drink and I asked for a Dr Pepper (bc it was on the menu as listed soft drinks), but she stated they only have Pepsi. Now normally I wouldn't say anything but it was on their menu and I could see the soda machine. I didn't push the issue and asked for a Pepsi.Went to order and it was another gentleman that came to take our order. very short and seemed bothered we were there. I normally go to the locations in Portage and they have always been amazing, friendly and just great. Maybe this was an off day for them but this has happened on more then one occasion at this location.

I'm a truck driver staying at a nearby hotel,I'm from southern California so I like to think I have great taste in Mexican foodThis place is absolutely amazingService was perfect,the food is absolutely amazing,try the Mexican pizza,it's totally different from what I'm used too but worth it,I got 3 enchiladas combo and it was greatMy servers name Teresa is the best, awesome and courteous and always making sure I was doing okThis place is awesomeThank you for the great dinner
