This is one of the best places in Kalamazoo. We try to go there at least once a month if not more. So delicious!

A friend told me about this place and I am so glad he did! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Their selections are broad and their service--excellent! Tiny area for those who want to eat in, with a real international flavor!

Their menu says that the beef curry that I ordered was just under eight dollars. I got there to pick it up, and they charged me over twelve dollars for it. Then the card terminal where you pay is one of the ones that asks for a tip. Some nerve. When I ate my food, most of the beef was overcooked and some pieces still had chewy fat on them. Gross. I won't eat there again.

Interesting... Showed up 40 minutes before there closing time and they said the kitchen was closed so we politely turned around and left. We happen to be a white couple and wouldn't think that matters. But when seeing what looked to be a Malaysian couple come in about 10-15 minutes behind us(we were sitting in the parking lot looking up other restaurants open)... They are handed a menu and go have a seat in the restaurant. Looking like the kitchen just opened back up for them?I would love to hear an explanation for this. In the meantime... I plan to avoid that place like the plague.

A good place for food, everything I’ve tried for takeout has not disappointed me ever.But gotta give a disclaimer that the family who runs it seems pretty rude and have never in my last 5 visits offered a friendly smile. Probably won’t leave tips moving forward, unless they improve.Update: I left a >50% tip and still the family doesn’t even return a smile. Changed the rating to 2 stars.
I go here often. I always get the roti canai with curry chicken dipping. Also the Sup Adam Pedas and add white rice it’s very good highly recommend it these two are my favorite dishes I get. Staff is friendly to me and food is always hot and fresh recommend checking out this small dinner.

We tried Rasa Ria for the first time today and it was delicious. We tried Fried Kway Teow, Beef Rendang, and some curry puffs (they were out of the roti). I've never had Malaysian food before but it felt "homemade" in the best way possible. Comforting and full of flavor. I'm already excited to eat there again to try their roti and some other dishes that stood out. Everyone said this place is a hidden gem and they were right! Yum!
