This place has the potential to be really good but it misses the bar. It was just me and a table of 3 who walked in at the same time, no one else. I received a water right away and was expected to order. I kindly asked for 2-3 minutes to look at the menu, the server proceeded to the other table and took their order. That’s ok! What wasn’t ok was that it then took her 20 minutes to return to my table to take my order. Their entire order had arrived at their table before she even bothered to stop back at mine, she never came out of the kitchen before that. For much of my visit there was a man and a woman having a very loud argument in the kitchen in another language. I nearly left.My food was decently good, the salad was great and the crunch fire burrito I got was VERY salty. I removed the spicy fish mix in it and identified that this was the cause. Otherwise it was very good.I think the service is lacking and it could have easily still made a 5 star rating if I didn’t wait so long to be waited on and then I’m not sitting here waiting for my check. I’ve been ready to leave but my server is again nowhere to be found.

There were no more than 20 people in the restaurant, but it took the kitchen 45 minutes to get our food out. When my wife's food finally came, it tasted horrible, so we sent it back. They overcharged us on our bill and when we asked them to correct it, the owner came out and yelled at us.

I tried cham pong, tobbukki, son du pu soup and spicy squid, all taste were very bad. I mean it! tasteless. Moreover, they said the side dish were not free refill while almost all of the korean restaurant get free refill. The service is okay. Our server was Kind Of patient. Overall, we had the worst experience in this restaurant.

I can be critical of sushi and sashimi restaurants, but this place hits the spot. I recommend the Alaskan Roll. It's a solid and generous portion. For something smaller the Rainbow Roll is fresh and nicely prepared. My only suggestion I have is that some of the fried rolls are available in a non-fried variety .Courteous staff, and nice ambience. I definitely recommend this place.

Our 1st time visiting for drinks & dinner. Great, modern decor & atmosohere. Service was great. Food was so-so. Not overly impressed. I got the chicken & noodles (which I think was spaghetti). The chicken was dry and without flavor. Hubby got the beef & noodles. The California rolls were great. Gyosa was good- I used that sauce on my chicken. They advertised 16 oz beers but only bring 12 oz glasses. Hubby wasn't happy about that. The place is pricy. For the 2 of us, the bill was $107. I had 1 glass of house cab. Probably won't return.

My husband and I were taking a small trip with some friends for the holiday weekend, and we happened across Sura which advertised Korean BBQ. We are avid Korean BBQ goers and have experienced several restaurants around the country, so we definitely know what we would usually expect. We were seated right away and given menus, and we noticed that the items were on the pricey side from what we have been used to. Not a big deal initially, until the banchan (small plate side dishes) came out. There were only two, which is odd as usually at these restaurants you would get anywhere between 6-10. Additionally, rice was an extra cost, and there would be no additional sides. When we asked the employee what other sides they had, we were told that there was only kimchi, and lettuce wraps that would come out with the meat.Given that we hadn’t begun grilling, we decided to just pay for the kimchi that was brought out, and leave. My husband spoke with the owner, in Korean. My husband was civil and respectful, however the owner was angry. The gist of what was said was “that server didn’t know what she was talking about” and “more sides were coming”, ending with “if you think you can find something better, then get out”. So that’s what we did.It would be a disservice to others not to warn of our own dissatisfaction. Regardless of whether or not your food is worth the price, the way you treat customers and employees is also important. If you are looking for an authentic Korean BBQ experience, this is not the place for you.
