Quiet small tavern in Kalkaska with good barbecue!Kid-friendliness: Kids menu options, root beer is a fantastic local made option for anyone. Son had the soup three ways and really enjoyed it!
It was a great stop. Server was nice and friendly. Hostess was fast and kept our table clear. Food was good. Building was clean and bathrooms are sweet looking. I had a burger and it was tasty. Also had spring roll and some nachos. All good. My brother in law had the Mac and cheese with brisket which was epic.

Trout town has some of the best food in Kalkaska. It's a great atmosphere, awesome service ? Nice menu variety, great taste!Parking: Huge parking lot plenty of room for large groups.
