Wrong Address on Menu!!

Restaurant is located in downtown Lexington, NOT 7023 Lakeshore as indicated on the menu. Food was overpriced and they did not have guacamole. Staff was friendly. Don't get the burrito.

Food & service were good. There really isn't any ambiance. Chef Fresca is very friendly & prides himself on his food

Came to visit Lexington on the weekend and my friend suggested coming here. She and her husband love coming here and we thought, why not?She recommended the blue gill fish taco and magic dragon. After much deliberation, I have to say the magic dragon had a slight edge. It is a spicer choice that's packed with flavour. I got the chicken to pair with the magic dragon. For a crunchier profile, I suggest trying their puffy shell. There is no extra cost to this! The blue gill was also delicious. It has a creamier flavour with a solid piece of real fish in the middle. This was definitely made in-house as you can distinctly tell that there is skin on the fish!I highly recommend stopping by if you are ever in the area!

Since their move from lakeport back to Lexington food over priced and nor anywhere near as good in lakeport $43. With 20% tip Chicken Quesadilla was all cheese and very little guacamole and Pico. Very disappointed would not recommend. Miss them being in Lakeport was 100% better. lost a customer.

Food is good & fresh. Salsa & wet burrito are a bit too spicy for someone who doesn't really eat spicy food.

The food was awesome. I wondered if 3 tacos would be enough for a meal and it was. 2 regular tacos and a taco with the pickle....I think it was the shawarma one but don't quote me on the name. All were great and the puffy shell was a nice difference. Came right as they opened for lunch so no wait. Got it to go but they do have tables and benches outside. Overall a nice place to eat

Best fish tacos ever! Ever since the location moved into my town of Lexington, MI, my husband and I crave their tacos at least once a week! I've tried all of their tacos but my favourite is the blue gill (fish) taco on a puffy shell. It usually comes on a corn shell but I always request it to be changed to the puffy. The fish is always so crunchy and pairs perfectly with the guacamole. Sometimes I dream about eating this taco... My husband on the other hand loves his Magic Dragon tacos with beef on a puffy shell. He loves the pico salsa and the extra bit of spice. There is a small parking lot and we've never had any issues with parking. The wait is usually between 10 and 15 minutes for the food to be ready so I would say the service is pretty efficient. There is a small seating area inside but a larger area outside and we always sit there so we can enjoy the nice weather. It gives off family-owned, casual vibes, which we love!

Cute spot and great service but oh my the food was not worth the price. The nachos with beef were lacking flavor except the overpowering taste of rancid, over-used oil on the chips. Random pockets of super salty queso and soggy lettuce with clumps of what tastes like store bought guacamole. The best part of it was the beef by itself. I was disappointed but I might try something else in the future!

I was just informed by a trusted source that the Food is good not great. But They don’t answer the phone. Rather than apologize for their lack of service They were then rude using foul language. I managed 5 BBQ locations and answering the phone is a high priority. My customers l, especially the locals were deeply appreciated. Some people just shouldn’t be in the service industry. Spend your money wisely. To the owner and staff of Chef’s I say, “Do Better.”

Got cussed out by a pretty boy cook and the owner because I complained about them not answering the phone. They are completely disrespectful and hostile. They do have good food, but not worth getting into a physical fight over. Don’t give them your money and maybe they’ll leave. UPDATE… After the owner and pretty boy employee cursed me out, they came outside while I was in my truck leaving this review and threatened me then called the police on me. Go there if you want. Beware

They have a new location and the food is still very mediocre. The meat has no flavor and the prices are ridiculous. A quesadilla is $15. That might not be so bad but let me describe the quesadilla to you...you can make your own if you go to the store buy the cheapest floor tortilla you can find, generic Mexican cheese, and pre-cooked chicken. Throw a tiny amount of shredded lettuce on top with 3-4 pieces of diced tomatoes and that's it. $15. No salsa, no flavor, no reason for a $15 price tag. The nachos are the same. Cheap chips, precooked chicken from a bag, a bit of lettuce and tomato and some tasteless cheese type sauce. No salsa or other toppings. Tacos are also straight out of the kitchen if someone who is a bad cook. Go get yourself a packet of Old El Paso and a pound of ground beef and you will triple your flavor. The food is edible, it's just not good. It's bland average American versions of Mexican food with less flavor than Taco Bell. The service was as described in other reviews. Not very helpful. Don't even tell you that nothing has salsa on it. The ambience is to be expected from a take out joint. The place appears to be very clean but there is very little room to wait for your order. The waiting area can hold about 5-6 people if you are good friends. It could be said that this is a new location and that things will improve with time but it's the same story as the last two locations. I honestly don't know how they stay in business serving this incredibly bland take on Mexican food.

Trust me and get the jackfruit puffy taco. It’s so flavorful. Chili lime chicken puffy taco was my 2nd favorite. So glad to have this Mexican place in the Lexington/Lakeport area.

The food is mucho delicioso!!! The only hold back from obtaining a meal from this place 7 days a week, is their hours of operation and the cost. Don't get me wrong! I wouldn't sway anyone away from Sean Michael O'Rourke's "delightful gastronomy opportunity!" It's just the overall expense. ?I realize that "really great food" is more expensive than a "combo meal" at a drive thru. However, when I ordered 2 meals, with chips, salsa and queso, my final tally was $50+ not including the tip!Are the portions adequate? Oh, YEAH!!! (I was still eating my leftover chicken lime quesadilla, 2 days later!) Was the food fresh and full of flavor, "beyond comprehension?" WAAAY BEYOND!!! I have eaten "really good Mexican food" all the way across our great nation and back again! Sean's "work of culinary art," by and far, is at the very top!!! I just wish that I could afford to eat it a LOT more often than "once in a while!"In conclusion, I must say,Keep up the great work Sean!!! I'll be back, sooner than later!!!!!

Great food. Just a happen chance stop in for a quick lunch with the hubs. It was so good we decided to have it for dinner as well. Ate in for lunch did Togo for dinner. We had a 20 min drive, so Togo wasn't as good as eating in. Melt your face off was the best sauce we've ever had in awhile. Verde was good too.
