Great place to get beans that are actually blonde and not bitter and waxy- love the staff and service and quality! I got the refillable vacuum case and have definitely saved money with that and am happy with it!

I enjoy 517 coffee company. Their house made coffee syrups are unique and delicious. The staff is always pleasant, remembers you and your order and make my morning start off right. Try the Baklavatte or piloncillo latte.

If you are looking for a casual and friendly Cafe, try 517. We had one of the best decaffeinated latte, and another latte with molasses and brown sugar. We got 2 pastries was with bacon and apple slices, which were yummy! You will meet super friendly and nice barista. Will definitely go back there.

I'm a diehard Biggby customer but I always pass this shop otw to work. This am the winds of change had me stop in. The barista/manager/overall chill dude in there was super friendly. They have a smaller menu than alot of places [not in a shade way, just stating a fact] and the barista picked up on my ummmmms and made a suggestion. I paid $5ish/6 for a 16oz peach cobbler latte with oat milk. Just like he said it wasn't overpowering and a smooth bev :) small but chill environment. You could def meet w a couple friends or study here. I really liked that they support local artists and have pieces for sale. I'll def swing by again.Kudos to the barista for the awesome service :)

I was in a rush to get back on the road. I was staying with my brother in East Lansing and he doesn't drink coffee. I don't want to go to a fast food place or an evil empire coffee shop. My brother doesn't know where to go. I did my usual shopping at Liv's and saw that 517 was up the street.I love it. It's cozy and they even have pour over coffee. I only had time to get one cup of what was on drip and I was immediately satisfied.This will be my exit coffee shop when I visit my brother in Lansing.
