This place has amazing food and a 12" taco. The staff is very professional. The waitress comes off a little hard but she is amazing. The area it's located in isn't the best but well worth a visit.

I recently had a taco salad at Aldaco's Taco Bar in Holt, and I was disappointed to find that it was more like a nacho combo meal from Taco Bell. The salad was mostly chips and cheese with lettuce, with very little meat or vegetables. I would not recommend this dish to others. This sint what I would call a taco salad. Taco salads at other restaurants consist of a tortilla shell or large bull that has ground beef or chicken, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese and other ingredients.I understand that this is just one person's opinion, and others may have had different experiences. However, I hope this review is helpful for you to decide whether or not to try the taco salad at Aldaco's Taco Bar. Chips were fresh and my meal was fresh though.

I thought the service was great and our waitress was awesome, and the food was pretty good, but it was a bit disappointing to see that the taco bar is now a catering only situation, at least on the lunch menu. I understand the world has definitely changed and things have gotten very expensive, and I also understand that if the volume of diners doesn't justify that expense than it shouldn't happen, but it seems like the "taco bar" part shouldn't be on the sign anymore if that's the case. That being said, our waitress did go the extra mile and I have absolutely no complaints with the service or the food I did order- it was great.

I simple tacos, rice and beans. Next day. My stomach was aching, due to spoil food.

By far the best AUTHENTIC Mexican food in Lansing. However.....the best time to go is during the week. For whatever reason they think because it's the wkend they can charge $4 more for the same stuff they serve all week for $10. And for the knuckleheads saying it's bland. Their the same ones who think canned food is better. Everything is made fresh and from scratch. The owner is related to the original Famous Taco restaurant. !!!!! UPDATE::: They no longer do the buffet and prices are thru the roof!

I used to absolutely LOVE this place before it moved up the road. I ate there a few times after it moved and it wasn't as good as before, but it wasn't nearly as awful as it is now. This place is probably the most overpriced restaurant in Ingham County and Mexican food is the absolute cheapest cuisines there is to make, outside of canned ravioli. The prices would make more sense if they weren't so skimpy on servings and the food was good, but it's worse than frozen TV dinners! As others have said, I can't believe this place is even still in business. Especially, now that they no longer have the buffet.

This order was a joke .. ordered nacho deluxe. It was stale taco shells broke in half sprinkled with meat and a little cheese . Got a tiny guacamole for a full order that cost 16.99. Never again will I go here .. if you r reading this don’t waste your money there! Below it asks which dish I recommend NONE!!

First time eating at this location since they moved from up the street years ago. Despite the name, there is no taco bar any longer, apparently not in years. Half of the restaurant is closed off. The menu that appears on Google has all the wrong prices (too high). Waitress said they cant control what is shown.(?) Got the burritos de Carne with beef and a side of beans and rice. The 3 burritos barely had any meat in them, a big disappointment. Rice and beans were good and the mild and hot sauces were good. Atmosphere could be a lot better. Not sure if I'll return.

Parking lot is all potholes. Went in with 5 people, there was no one in the restraunt but us. The only table big enough for all of us had a reserved sign on it, so we had to sit at 2 separate booths. Asked for two orders of chips with salsa and caso cheese and was given nacho cheese, the chips were hard, thick and flavorless . Ordered chimichunga meals with rice and beans the chuck's had rice in them which is something no chimi we've ever had has had and it had acup of rice in them and a tablespoon each of beans and meat. Not a good value, not good food, and looked like a dump. Would not recommend.
