As always, I had a great time and the service was impeccable. Steak cooked to perfection. Thanks Paul, you'll definitely see me again.

Worst service ever. Will not bother trying to book again. Hostess confirmed table availability only to decline afterwards.

Incredible atmosphere, small dining room with personal service. Tomahawk Steak for two was perfectly cooked, shrimp cocktail was chilled, fresh and clean. Espresso martini was blended to perfection. Extremely enjoyable evening from the ambiance to the dessert.

This establishment offers exceptional cuisine accompanied by outstanding service. However, the presence of TVs at the bar detracted slightly from the otherwise upscale and cozy ambiance. Nevertheless, the excellence of the food and service far outweighs any minor inconvenience caused by the televisions.

Had a nice date night with my husband and it was amazing getting dinner here. Got a reservation at 7.30pm and it was almost full house; small restaurant but good quality and service. Caring staff and awesome steak! We ordered crab cakes (they were delicious!), a porterhouse to share (40oz, we were stuffed!), and green beans as an ala-carte side.Portions of food are big and shareable. We were too full to get desserts but they looked amazing when other customers were enjoying them!

Pretty good for Lansing. Used to be the Knight Cap, for anyone familiar with the area. Food and cocktails were great. Steaks were perfect and the sides were very well made/ presented. Seating was a bit closer than I'm used to for a $2-300 dinner. Prices were also 10-15% more than I would expect for what it was, but considering the options in Lansing, I'm not complaining. Worth trying if the so-so attempt at ambience isn't a deal breaker for you. Could barely have a conversation across the table quite honestly.

We’ve been big fans of Bowdie’s for some time now but I was disappointed to see last visit they had a pretty bad case of fruit flies or gnats that impaired the experience and unfortunately took away from the exceptional food and service.

First time here and everything was fantastic. Had the filet mignon, and shared starters and sides with a group. Portion sizes are good and you get what you pay for; in this case it is not cheap but the quality is very high.Service was excellent. Very welcoming and answered all the questions, made great recommendations.Absolutely recommend to visit at least once.

Perfection. I took my boss out for his birthday, and Bowdie's lived up to every expectation. The steaks melt in your mouth, the drinks are superb and the staff make the service memorable.

Okay, this place is to die for! It really is five star five star very small restaurant setting. The atmosphere is tremendous as the picture should show. I mean, they never really hold a candle to the real thing, but these guys knock it out of the park. Especially for Lansing Michigan. Whoever the chef is whoever they got working back there just stupendous work. everything, flavor, presentation, five stars. I don't care what city you're in.Parking: Well this place has got a small private parking lot in the rear with the staircase up to the restaurant or there's a paid parking just behind that where there's plenty of parking or in the front of the restaurant through street parking I think depending on the time and day it's either paid or it's free but wherever you got to park it will be well worth whatever inconvenience it may be to get to this meal.

Food was generally interesting and very good including the steak but somewhat over priced compared to quality (this comparison is made in relation to Kobe beef consumed in Japan). The lobster was perfect. Service and personal were all commendable, the intimate ambiance is quite nice and we certainly plan to be back in the future.

Absolutely PHENOMENAL Dining Experience! Amazing , Attentive & Accurately Accommodative Waitstaff who continuously deliver Excellent Superb Service ! Rachel is Amazing . She is quick , sweet , fixes up a good drink, service with a smile & her suggestions never miss! Big Ups to Eric in the kitchen. All the waitstaff is pleasurable & perspicacious . I appreciate all the cooks working their magic .I’ve been to the Lansing location now several times since I first visited in July of 2023. It was recommended I’d go by a former associate of mine. Specifically this particular location for “the Best steak & dining” . It was my first Bowdies experience & it’s my favorite Bowdies experience! I was not let down. I cannot eat steak out at any restaurant anywhere else. I haven’t since I’ve ate here. It’s not worth it to be disappointed everywhere else. I’ve had the filet , the Kansas & now the porterhouse. I get it cooked Pittsburgh Blue & it is insanely tasty & optimally the best nutritious level you can get. You cannot find better prepared, cooked or served steak . Tremendously Immaculate performance by all. I literally cannot get enough of their Beautifully, Deliciously *Masterfully Crafted & Decadent Food. The presentation is exquisite & deliverance is fantastic. The atmosphere is rather intimate in setting , which I adore & enjoy very much. . soft yellow light , wonderfully designed & decorated throughout. I really appreciate it being a small venue ,one tv at the bar which allows people who are dinning to better connect. Then the beautiful plating it’s an on going list. Literally everything is amazing . You just gotta go . Make the reservation. Tip well. They can have my money every single time . Well deserved & Highly appreciated. I’ll be back. & I’ll keep coming . Yall are a JOY

I cannot begin to explain the luxury and quality of this steakhouse. The staff were professional, kind, and helpful. The atmosphere was fancy and intimate. The food... Oh my goodness the food. You could order anything and they'll be guaranteed to take it to an entirely new level. It's pricey for sure, but worth it if you can swing it. Side note, I've never had escargot and it truly is delicious. I was even given a free slice of cake for my birthday. 10/10
