First time visiting Lansing and Fortune House.Order Chicken and broccoli and added an egg roll and shrimp fried rice which was $4.99 more. My sister ordered Almond Chicken and $4.99 for chicken fried rice. The grease was old that the fried rice was cooked in. The almond chicken was fried hard with old grease. Broccoli and chicken has no flavor.We will not be returning.

Stay away from the chicken pad thai.... worst thing I've ever ate,tasted like they poured lemon juice all over it no heat what so ever and I asked for medium heat.. trash can won tonight!!!

This place sucks at making food. Which for a Chinese place is like all you got bc no one is going here for the atmosphere. 4 meals all different, all individually the worst Chinese food any of us have had. Orange chicken, sesame beef, sesame shrimp, general chicken. All over cooked till almost black and crumbles it's so crunchy. Fried rice was I think just dyed grey, no egg or veggies and it was an upcharge. Shrimp was no longer shrimp, I can't explain it but it wasn't shrimp or really anything. I hope they were on drugs when they made out meal bc I would feel better about it. Not being picky, I'm a construction worker. I eat bad food for lunch and we didn't eat more than a few bites. Blah

The lady was really sweet and nice but the food not so. I order dumplings(6) - 3 steamed and 3 fried. They taste bad, it was more dough than meat/filing. I’ll tried something different next time and see but don’t get the dumplings :)

Finally found our new Chinese place! Really good and prompt! My husband is now obsessed with the General Tsos chicken! Highly recommend!!!
Straight to the point they have phenomenal food! From fortune house wonton soup (they have the best recipe I've ever stumbled upon, the broth is so savory), eggrolls, chicken on a stick, sweet& sour chicken,& crab ragoons. (our usual order) My granddaughter recently came back into town so we hit the "old town spot" & everything has remained GREAT. The service is phenomenal as well, primarily her& her husband are running the spot so you know that the food is quality& consistent. Fortune house is take out from now on after Covid& that is no problem with how amazing the food is. It's great to come home& enjoy a meal with the family. They have an amazing, strong work ethic& are always so kind& so thankful for our order. She is one of the kindest woman i have met, warms my heart to order from here& pick up. What a great business, all around.

Hands down, BEST CHINESE FOOD IN LANSING! They’re prices are very fair, they’re fast with service and food is always hot and fresh. Also, the lady at the front counter is very nice, polite and makes you feel welcomed (even if you come in close to closing time). All in all, a great choice for your Chinese dinner night.

I ordered pad thai. It tasted ok but I don't think it tasted like pad thai...it was more of a sesame oil and soy sauce flavor. I also ordered tum yum soup and it was really off. I didn't end up eating it because I did not like it. I'd be willing to try other things here....just not either of those two things.
