“The owners are always so kind, and talking to them is a delight every time I stop in. Their hummus and tabbouleh are the best around, and I adore their pita. Whether you’re looking for affordable middle eastern groceries, prepared and packaged items like hummus or grape leaves, or a freshly made wrap, you can’t go wrong here. One of the things I’ll miss most about Lansing when I leave.Vegetarian options: The fried cauliflower wrap is to die for! The eggplant wrap is also excellent. Simple but delicious. “The food is top notch and even though it may seem a bit pricey at first, the serving sizes are quite large so you’re essentially paying for two meals because you’ll have lots of leftovers. The pharmaceutical reps who bring food to my office often cater from here and everything is always great and on time. It’s really nice having another high quality Arabic restaurant in Lansing and the fact that it’s halal makes it even better!“
“I visited 2 other restaurants looking for soup. Zaytoon was my third stop and they had Lentil and Vegetable soup available. I am very happy I stopped here because the LENTIL SOUP is VERY GOOD. While waiting in line to order I noticed some fresh bakery items in the display case. I don't know the names of the items but I chose 2 of the Nutella and pistachio sprinkled item. Yes, order 2 because you will want another bite!“
“We usually go to a different place on the East side but we were in the area on the other side of town and saw this place and gave it a shot. We are glad we did. We did chicken kabob, beef kabob, lamb kofta, falafel. Everything was fantastic.. I have made my own falafel but their falafel was so much better than mine. We have been there 2x’s and we will be definitely going back“
