Been here a few times in the past and enjoyed their Lengua burritos immensely, thought they were best in MI, but unfortunately this latest order (was done via grub hub) was just, extremely dissapointing.They added cheese and forgot the Avacado for a burrito where cheese was not ordered, and Avacado was charged extra. Unfortunately I could not eat a majority of burrito as I can't have dairy, and from the pieces I did have, there was very little lengua in general and more rice than anything. The lengua itself was nowhere near as flavorful as in the past (within 1 month), and for the taste and amount they add, was not worth the up charge of $1.In addition to the burrito, I ordered 2 tacos, one Asada and Carnitas, each costong $3.49, and the amount of meat they put in was just... What the hell? It was enough for a single bite. There was more tortilla than meat, cilantro and onions.My partner's burrito was made correct, however they also noted the flavor being off and same complaints of the burrito being mostly rice. The mango cup was good thoihgh, but the test was so dissapointing. Grub hub fees and mango cup ignored, this was not anywhere worth being $33 and not sure how they dropped in quality with their food.I hope the owners improve their value and quality like it was in the past, cause this was just a shock to us.

Me and my son live really close to this place. We've been wanting to go try it for a couple of months now. So we finally went yesterday and it was disappointing. We ordered 3 Tacos that were $3.49 each. One would think that they would have some substance at that price...they were on a 6 inch shell with less meat in them than a Taco Bell taco. There was no sour cream. We got no hot sauce. They dripped of grease...which was a surprise cause they had very little flavor. We might return to try their deserts...I've heard some people say that they are good. Won't go for food again.Parking: The pavement for this location was terrible.

Food used to be great. Mangonada used to be my favorite thing. The mangonada is now very clearly made different, and it is not nearly as good as it used to be, tastes artificial, not enough toppings… The corn in the cup was watery and frankly quite disappointing. Tastes like canned corn. Sad and disappointing. Used to be the best spot.
Finished date night strong with dessert. We've been dying to try the mangonada and it did not disappoint. We also devoured the churro dip in the car unable to wait. The service was kind and informative, the food delicious. Will have to come back to try the food, not just the sweets.

Stopped in here one day on a recommendation. So happy we did. Everything was delicious. Didn't get a photo of the Tres Leches cake, but my daughter's boyfriend who bought it loved it! That's a compliment as his mom is a baker in the Detroit area, that is her specialty. The workers were very welcoming.
Have been coming to Mexi since the cedar location. Absolutely love the authentic flavors you produce!!
