I was in town for a concert, decided to stop in before the show for drinks and food. From the time we sat down, we didn't get our first drink for almost 20 mins. It took around 10mins for a waitress to even come to our table with menus. We ordered drinks first(drafted beer and a cider), and waited ,waited, waited. The food came quick after we ordered and was delicious (Baja tacos and a chicken wrap) wait time on another beer was almost as long as the first. First time impression-service was horrible, food was great

Was disappointed going in for dinner after an evening out kayaking.Of the open booths, both table tops were noticeably dirty. The cleaner of the two we quickly realized would leave half the table with drinks on them, but they quickly wiped down the table of the other booth after I asked and pointed out it was dirty.Overall I would have said it was a nice evening after that. However, when we got our checks at the end of the meal, we noticed a decrepancy. My friend and my drinks were $2 more than listed. My friend pointed this out to the server only for it to be realized he had given us the alcoholic version of our drink. The brewery has a non-alcoholic Elvis Juice and an Alcoholic version. While we were pointing to the NA section when we order, I think it was an honest mistake. However, there wasn't any clarification with having two beverages with the same name as to which we wanted and I strictly can't have alcohol because of my medications. Luckily I was so focused on food I barely touched my drink, but it could have really messed me up and I could see others accidentally in a hard situation without even realizing.

Ordered to go at around 8:30, seemed bothered we were ordering to go, if you’re not doing to go orders just say that. I have never had an olive burger so dry, and by dry I mean almost NO olive sauce what so ever. Had to make my own olive sauce at home to put on it ??‍♀️. Ordered two both were the same. At first we thought they got our order wrong then we peeled the burger off the bottom bun and there it was hidden ?. Haven’t been here in a while but I’m good on it for now.

This place has good food and atmosphere, but the service leaves a lot to be desired, ESPECIALLY with takeout orders. I live right downtown, and have ordered takeout from Midtown dozens of times. It's not uncommon to find things missing from the order when I get home. "Why don't you check the order before leaving?" I hear you asking. Great question! It's because they tie their takeout bags in a knot before you even get there to pick it up. So this has caused some problems. Tonight, after finding that my takeout fish and chips was missing all the stuff (slaw, tartar, lemon), I got annoyed enough to call over there and tell them how frustrating it is to always get home missing something. The man who took my call was so incredibly rude to me! I never raised my voice, used any profanity or pejoratives, nothing like that. I was a bartender for too many years to talk to people in the industry with disrespect. But the gentleman I was speaking with on the phone clearly didn't feel that way. He acted annoyed to be bothered with such a trifle. He called me things like "aggressive," "intense," and "insulting," even though I wasn't anything but frustrated. I finally said to him, "Is there going to be a point in this conversation where you try to fix the issue?" and he said, "The way you're talking to me, I don't know if I feel like giving you a credit." Then he told me how busy he was right then. So I asked to speak to a manager. He told me that he WAS the head manager! So I asked for the owner's contact information, which he refused to give me. It was a wild conversation, y'all...to the point where I'm writing this review instead of eating delicious fish and chips. I'll never go back, regardless of how long I live in this house or how hungry I get. To get told off when I called to express frustration with a problem?!? Rude. In conclusion: Don't be like me. Check your takeout before you leave.

I like the place and their bartenders. They have good food and good beer. I wish they had more food options.

We had a reservation tonight that we showed up almost an hour early for & with twice as many people & we have never felt SO welcome. The drinks were fantastic, the food was top notch, & the service was *chef's kiss*. 10,000,000/10 would recommend!

Easily one of the best spots in the Lansing area!

Horrible service, they don't pay attention to you, waited at table for 20 minutes bedore someone asked if we'd been helped. Dont try to use your hoppassport as they will refuse to accept it. The food tastes frozen and microwaved. Bartender sits behind the bar vaping, and on his phone, strawberry ale has nasty aftertaste. Also, the menu online is not current, and expect them to not have half the menu items available.

Buffalo chicken salad consisted of a chicken breast on some salad greens on a small plate- More like bunless chicken sandwich. Would have preferred the chicken chopped up and mixed into an actual salad in a bowl.

I had a really good first experience here. The bartender was friendly, drinks were good and I enjoyed the food. The Purple Monkey Dishwasher is deliciously surprising!
