Today was my first time at saddleback, and food here was absolutely phenomenal! The food and atmosphere closely resembled what I feel like I might see at a traditional southern bbq place down south maybe. The service was spot on and staff were so nice. My only gripe at really no fault of the business is the lack of parking, but worth the struggle every bit. Will be back again soon!

I have always had good food from here. However the tuesday sandwich special was a disapointment. Fries were good. The pork was very dry and the miniture cup of sauce really didn't help much. The sauce had good flavor just didn't have enough.

We ordered online and got the pulled pork packzis I’m not much for sweets but it was pretty good. The Mac n cheese tasted good. The fries tasted great but were a little soggy soggy. But keep in mind I drove 30 minutes to get home before I ate.

Hubs picked up the $80 sampler to enjoy with the Super Bowl. For the price, the amount of food was very disappointing. The special included 5 meats and 3 sides. Two of the sides were tiny: an 8oz bowl of Mac and cheese, and a caeser salad that was just enough for 2. The pulled pork was dry even with the sauce added. Fingers were good, ribs ok, brisket ok and the sausage looked very interesting. We anticipated that $80 would easily feed our small super bowl group (3 adults and 4 kids), but no. We wished we would have picked up wings from another restaurant instead.

Ordered pickup for the first time after hearing about their pasty special. Very underwhelming food for a bbq restaurant, pasty’s were bland and the meat inside was sparse. 2 stars for the sides which were decent but common enough that I wouldn’t come back for them.

Gross dingy interior, didn’t look like a place you’d serve food at. The bathrooms were like a sketchy truck stop’s in the middle of nowhere. The food was unspeakably bad; old meat that was dryer than bone, cold rubbery macaroni that was somehow worse than even the Kraft box version, and to top it off, ended up near 40$ total. If I had a Time Machine and could only use it once, I would use it to go back in time to stop myself from ever giving this place my money. If I could give it zero stars I would.

I was invited to a meeting. We had just moved to Lansing, and I had not yet visited any restaurants. The ribs and sides were OK, but a little spicy, I think. I took them home and nobody seemed to really like them. I have not been back since.
