I called ahead and got a "we can do that"; but when I arrived at the arranged pickup time (20min later), they had not even started assembling my order because the chicken shawarma was still cooking--it was going to be "just 3 minutes," I was told. BUT I SAT THERE FOR A SOLID 20 MINUTES INSTEAD. So be prepared to wait 40 minutes for your lunch lol.

This was my first time ever trying Sultans Express. I can’t believe I did not know about it earlier. Their food is beyond tasty. Their service is fast and efficient. Management is kind and generous. I had an issue with getting the wrong sandwich and they made me a new one and let me keep the initial one. The decor takes you back to the 90’s, it paid homage to pure Palestinian culture. I will definitely come back again. The falafel are still on my mind.

The food is very flavorful. We loved every part of the lunch special from the chicken schwarma to the falafel. Customer service was out of this world. We ordered two of the veggie grape leaves, and the gentleman gave us 2 lamb grape leaves to try because he noticed that one of us was not a vegetarian. Very friendly. Can't recommend this place enough!

This is THE BEST Mediterranean in Lansing! If you like shawarma, they have the most tender and most flavorful chicken, whether it's shawarma or the deboned chicken. I also love their salads, the fattoush (just lettuce, tomatoe, cucumber and the best dressing which comes already in the salad, you don't have to pour it yourself) or the tabooli, and the lentil soup, and hummus is top notch. Shawarma wraps are excellent, and the cauliflower wrap. My coworker did not prefer the egg plant, but I've never had it. Abdullah, the owner, is great and will treat you well and make sure you're happy. He is from Palestine. He also treats his workers well. This place is a hub for downtown workers, so lunch time is understandably busy, but don't let a long line keep you away, they keep it moving so it doesn't take long.Vegetarian options: They have non meat options like cauliflower wrap, egg plant, saladsParking: Parking is right out front, but it is paid. It is usually easy to get a spot bc most customers are walking there, not driving, from their downtown offices. They have street kiosks to pay at or if you have the passport parking app you can pay that way.

They had a ton of mobile orders they had to deal with.I had Chicken Schwarma lunch which comes with salad, rice, chicken, hummus, and pita. Oddly, the pita was the bagged kind you can buy at the store, nothing special. I also had falafel.The food was pretty good, but not amazing. I liked it, but the chicken was a bit dry. Everything else was pretty good. The hummus was really good.Quick service. Decent food. Decent portions. Friendly staff. I will go back.
