The owner Leah has an attitude I wasn't done with my coffee he told me time to go! There were flies in the restaurant also! I was laughing at a play on words and he told me to get the hell out of there! I was not making fun of the drugged customer!

The food is delicious, the service is good. However, I sat at the table that looks directly into the kitchen. I watched the cook as she was making everyone's food without gloves, picked her teeth, put her finger in her ear to itch it, wiped her sweat and not once did she wash her hands after any of this .. THEN I kid you not .. she proceeded to light a cigarette while simultaneously touching everyone's food. Talented multitasker, lacking basic hygiene and health code.

The tables and everything is this place may not be your cup of tea due to the fact It’s not ‘new aged’ , it’s not what you’d see now a days it’s older everything.BUT the owner is amazing . And when he cooks , them meals come out amazing. I haven’t been in 2 years because my grandpa passed away and it’s hard to go to his FAVORITE restaurant… where the food is good and cheap.. they shop right at aldis for everything and make it all from scratch which is why I believe, it is as amazing as it is.These people are a family.And I grew up going here now 20 years old, this is my favorite yesterday and always will be.I’m coming again very soon and I hope the owner is still up and running it ??.This place is amazing regardless of the older things that aren’t up to date , that’s what makes it feel even more like ‘home’ .

Walking into this place the first thing I noticed very dirty and the cook was smoking a cigarette right there on the cook line where the food and dishes are being cooked and washed I noticed the waitress walking right past food that needs to go to a table to fill up a ketchup service was lousy the atmosphere and that place is very dirty lots of garbage piled up on a couple of tables
