This hidden diamond near 8 mile road is THE BEST mexican food you will have outside of Mexico. I'm a Texan and telling you this. I started coming to this place when my parents moved to Ann Arbor, MI. My godparents wanted to have family dinner and took us to Tijuana...this was in 2002. I now live in Columbus, Ohio and travel here once a quarter for this restaurant. The favors are so rich, fresh, and DEEP. The salsa is drinkable. You literally don't even need chips. Everything is made from scratch. Someone's grandma is in the back there making this ( Yes, the owners aunt and mom use to work in the kitchen supervising the meals. This is how often I was coming here! Extremely nice family). I have never had a bad meal! My personal favorites or the Mimi Chims and Chicken enchiladas! If You are in Detroit...stop by! You will leave with a smile and ready for a NAP

We have family that came in from Ohio we're trying to go to Buffy's Mexican place but we couldn't find it cuz the directions did not get you there. So we just came here it was a good place to come don't regret it I think everyone wants to come here don't waste your time on Buffy's come here to Tijuana they treat you rightKid-friendliness: Yes they treat your kidsgood
Seating was a little bit uncomfortable, but amazing food and good drinks. Decently priced

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant, their salsa is better than any other Mexican restaurant. I normally order Taco Mexicana or Enchiladas Swissa (both of which aren’t on the menu anymore so you have to ask for them) sometimes I order a Mexican pizza but over the years I’ve probably tried everything on the menu at least once. All the staff are very friendly, never had any problems personally with any service here.

Friends took me here for my birthday.....had chicken street tacos (my favorite), rice and beans....very bland and I mean bland, all of it! I ate one street taco out of 3, boxed the rest, including the rice and beans, got home and tossed all left overs in the trash. Chips and salsa were just Okay.
