Sorry. But the food wasn’t that good. Not what you would think when ordering Chinese food. Won’t be back.

Worst Chinese food ever. Shrimp chop suey was tasteless except for the cheap shrimp that had a bad aftertaste. Chicken with cashews was too salty. Worst won ton soup. Oily and flavorless. The wonton crisps were stale. Seriously, Detroit is majorly lacking when it comes to Chinese food. What a tremendous waste of my money.

If I could give it Zero starts I would! I placed an order for take-out a veggie Pad Thai and a beef Pad Thai, shrimp with Lobster sauce that came with rice, and spring rolls. ($44.00 bill and I tipped the employee that took the order) I opened the order to plate the meal, I noticed the spring rolls were burned and the was no rice for the shrimp with lobster sauce. I called to let them know. The employee said, to "that they are prepared crispy" I said, these are beyond crispy. She said, to bring the spring rolls in and they would replace them and would substitute the white with a large rice" with apologies. I drove back to pick-up the remaining of the meal. She asked me to check the spring rolls. They were a golden brown! When I returned to eat my meal with my family, I began to eat my dish of Veggie Pad Thai. The taste was "off" and I thought that I did like the dish from this restaurant. But it may have been that I didn't notice earlier the the "veggie" Pad Thai actually had "meat" (chicken) also!!! I stomach was hurting. I have not eaten meat in five years!!! I do not recommend this restaurant.

1st timer- The sesame chicken wasn't even edible. Very chewy. Threw it away after a couple bites, I wouldn't even let my dog eat it.

Last night was my first time trying Yum Yum as a takeout option as it seems all other Chinese restaurants are closed on Mondays and they were the only one open, go figure. I spent $40 on two entrees- Kung Pao Chicken and Szechuan Chicken, and then an order of wonton soup. I want to be fair. The wonton was pretty good. The broth was good and the wonton was a bit thicker than I've had at other places, but I liked it. Both of our entrees were disgusting. The reason is they use some sort of paste instead of a sauce. I am not quite sure how to explain it, but let me explain that we were willing to stop eating after a few bites, squander $40 spent and find food elsewhere. I have never, ever had Chinese food this bad... like ever. I would not recommend.

Phenomenal, really. I don't know much about authenticity, but I do know that the food we got tonight was amazing. It's been a long time since I've had an egg roll from a restaurant (instead of the ones that I get from the frozen section of the grocery store and pop into the oven), but, like...every bite of my egg roll tonight was just...amazing. The dinner portions were AMPLE, and I'll have leftovers for lunch tomorrow (if not the next day too), just like I always get from Chinese places downriver. I love this place, and I am so glad we tried it on a whim tonight. Thank you, Yum Yum Express. We'll be back for sure!

highly disappointedwife order vegetable chop suey and Thai tea through their website and paid for it. she drives 10 minutes to pick it up, and told it will be about 15 minutes so she patiently waits. they also tell her they no longer sell Thai tea, even though it is in their menu and their app to order. she gets our food, drives home and we are ready to dig in. my vegetable chop suey has beef in it. so my wife calls and let's them know. the options they gave her is they could take our name for a meal in the future or come back up for the correct order.I leave to pick it up, so she can enjoy her meal, and I get there with the incorrect order. they take it and tell me they will check on my order. she comes back to tell me they haven't started on it and are working on Door Dash orders. she asks me do I want to wait or a refund so I took the refund.vegetable chop suet was $6.50 + tax...I got back $6.36I try to be understanding especially with covid...but this sucked

I can't even say I'm disappointed because I red the reviews and I knew what I was getting myself into but omg... I really did NOT... but if you are skeptical like me then please hear me out when I'm making this review....... I ordered crab Rangoon, egg drop soup, veggie spring rolls... First off.. egg drop soup was good but a bit salty..... veggie spring roll tasted a tad off.. taste very....earthly... or a bit old... but thee absolutely most disappointing was the crab Rangoon.. it had absolutely NOTHING in it at all, each piece that I opened up was empty... I mean I can see you being cheap but nothing beats this cheap and just for this I won't order from here again.
