Wasn't the same food as last year . I was disappointed with not having the water chestnuts and bamboo shoots in my almond chicken sauce. Also they gave me a very small cup of soup noodles for 3 wonton soup bowls . The bathroom was so soaked with piss from the older woman that was dining with us , they were afraid of sitting so they soaked the floor. Real nice ladies.(Sick). So I had to pick up each child and hold them up so they didn't get contaminated. I told the staff after I went to the restrooms myself the first time. I give a big thumbs down . Also charged for extra plates for kids and didn't even separate the chicken and sauce like I asked

Ever since the ownership has changed at Lim's Star it has become my family's favorite Chinese restaurant. We order both takeout and dine in and have never had an issue. My 5 and 8 year olds love the food and always ask to go here. My wife and I have tried many items on the menu and have been pleased with them all. Tim and family have done a great job with revitalizing this place and we will continue to return and recommend to everyone! You won't be disappointed.

Swee and sour sauce container should be a lot bigger with the amount of chicken being given. The general chicken taste like it was tossed in ketchup and barbecue sauce. The rice isn’t fully cooked and doesn’t taste like anything, I had to put more soy sauce on it. But, the chicken doesn’t taste bad. It’s crunchy. I just know it won’t be good tomorrow.EGG ROLL 10/10.Edit; there’s also a brown/blond wavy piece of hair in the rice.Edit: my throat just started hurting

Best Chinese carryout around! Family owned too with friendly host! Best Spring Rolls and amazing chicken fried rice which is my personal fav! But everything is great! Generous portions and hours of operation are accommodating as well.Dietary restrictions: My daughter is gluten-free and many options are no problem!

We dined on Christmas Eve. My family has been going to Lim's Star for over 45 years. We had the worst experience we've ever had. We were bummed that they no longer serve dinner rolls as they've always had. The food didn't taste great and the combo meals no longer include hot tea (which tastes terrible now. ) The worst part was there was an insect in our food, which obviously took our appetite away. The waitress argued with us that it wasn't an insect and when we didn't back down, said she'd take it off the bill. Not only did she not take the entire meal off, but she charged extra for other items. The manager insulted us when we told him what happened and how long we had been coming to the restaurant. He said he'd never seen us since the new ownership and how dare we tell him that he could lose business. Do not go to this restaurant. It once was a gem and will likely get shut down.

We went for our annual Christmas lunch, worst service. 1 person waiting tables with a restaurant full of people. Food was cold and not prepared properly. It was just a horrible experience. Then on top of everything else, they added a 30% service fee to our $150.00+ order. We are done with Lims Star after 30 years of patronage!! Don't care for the new owners, they will probably go under eventually!!
