I've eaten inside four times and gotten carryout again least 3 times since discovering this cute little restaurant nearly a year ago. The interior is outdated and in need of some love, but the food is always hot, delicious, and consistent. The service is always quick and I swear the same 3 servers work everyday. If you're looking for a quick breakfast/lunch/ dinner look no further. My only complaint is the inflation costs that have heavily impacted the menu. 2 sandwiches with included side and 2 pops cost us nearly $36 before tip.

I'm giving them 3 stars based on the breakfast we just had. I ordered eggs and toast and gave the bacon to my son. He had corned beef hash and toast. Service was slow. Waitress didn't have a personality at all. .... Place needs updating and some action in the kitchen.

My son and I have enjoyed every meal that we have ever ordered. The potato soup is out of this world. There are chunks of potatoes in every bite. The burgers are amazing also. From the polish combination to the meatloaf. You are guaranteed a great and fresh meal. The family atmosphere...friendly wait staff.........

I cannot believe in all my years on Yelp I never wrote a review for Sam's Place! This has been my family's go to breakfast spot after church for years now- almost two decades! Now it's just dad and myself because no one else goes to church but the food is still something we look forward to every Sunday! We almost always get two eggs over medium, hash browns, one with bacon the other with sausage links, one with white toast, and the other with rye toast- well done and coffee. It's cooked to order every time including the well done toast. Now my family and I have worked at different coney islands throughout our life and their breakfast just doesn't hit like Sam's place. The hash browns are always good. You can tell that they aren't left sitting on the stove top or what my place used to do which was put cooked hash browns back in the freezer and then bring them out again to serve! Sam's place hash browns are the perfect kind of flavor and crisp to them. Our eggs are always spot on as well as our toast a meats. The coffee cups never run dry and the servers there are always nice. Our favorite servers are the young blonde girl and a young man, though we haven't seen him in awhile ): I'm realizing now we should ask for her name. She's the friendliest and most attentive one of them all!

Had breakfast there with my wife and everything was great. I appreciate a place that can make eggs properly. Basted eggs were perfect. It reminded me of the diner I worked at as a kid. Will be back for sure.

First time in there for a carry out… Ordered a salad, some chicken strips, a burger… But they forgot the ranch and the salad dressing… who wants to eat a dry salad! Plus nothing to dip the chicken and fries with … super disappointing!!! Probably won’t order with them again … I’m not driving all the way back for condiments…(we were cleaning out my friends house preparing it for sale and there was no condiments in the home ) it’s really pathetic to forget something so important…

Pancakes are not good. Maybe premade heated in micro? Soft choc chips on top? Br Skillet fresh ingredients just no seasoning. $54 bill plus good tip. For 4 people. 13.5$ basically for 6 tough pancakes, an omelette and a skillet breakfast.
Seated large group right away for breakfast--our server took great care of us--keeping the coffee flowing and checking on us without hovering. The food was just what you expect from diner-type--hot, tasty, generous portions, consistent. Eggs, omelettes, breakfast sandwiches, all delicious! Loved it!
