I had the 8.99 deal which is beef shawarma or chicken shawarma and I chose the beef shawarma and garlic Potato, the beef shawarma is ok but neeed some work hummus shouldn’t go with the beef shawarma only tahni works !!! However the garlic potatoes is perfect and the service is great overall I’m looking forward to come back to try the chicken Shawarma !!

They sell expired sodas from 2019. I should have known because when I got it... it had dirt all under the crevice of the top. I asked if I could clean it with some hot water... they said it's from another can that had exploded. Something just said look under the can.. Low and behold, it expired Sept 2019. Damn!

I was there Tuesday evening with a GF who wanted to buy me dinner as a belated (July 27th) birthday gift. She was later than expected for lunch and it was my first choice to try for dinner as close by me and she did not want to drive in rush hour traffic and needed to be back before 10 PM. I let her know we could eat outside or inside and I had recently met the owner's one night as they were closing and I had wanted to try that night. Tuesday night because she was late, I had already made my favorite spaghetti dinner with lots of fresh garlic before she finally came to pick me up to drive the short distance I am only able to walk.I had sent her the menu twice and let her know I just wanted the chicken sandwich $4.99 for lunch. She said when here she had not eaten all day. So when we walked in the smell alone was wonderful as was owner, Mohammed who has only been owner with his wife and son for one year. Such a nice man, his wife and son in Turkey for a month. I told him my favorite doctor from Turkey, Dr. Menmet Oz on TV, but he did not seem to know of him. Mohammed made us feel so welcome as only customers at that time; good timing on our part as my GF had a hard time choosing what she wanted to eat and drink and asked him what was in Chicken Shawarma dinner and I suggested the wonderful fresh fruit drink she also liked. He told me the main restaurant is located in Dearborn. I bet this one, because of new owner's will be best one next year as they continue to renovate and decorate. Needless to say, I had my cold drink there and brought home my sandwich and actually had it as a late night snack I heated quick in microwave and it was delicious and hope to be walking there soon again for lunch or dinner.

It used to be great. The new owner doesn't seem to care about his customers. He's rude and doesn't want to listen to you. Like one of the last reviews said, he starts putting things on your shawarma you didn't even tell him to. It's like he thinks he's making it for himself. He seems put off when you tell him to stop. It would be like going to Subway and the employee starts loading up your sub without asking what you want on it. I won't be going back.

I thought I'd give it a try since the former owner, Sam sold it. I'll never go back. The owner started putting stuff on the shawarma before we even told him what we wanted. He won't put things that you were able to put on them before (like tabouli). The mixed shawarma isn't part of the 3 for $11.99 special anymore, etc. He is the new owner so it's his new rules and style. It's up to him, but we will no longer be a customer. All the way around a horrible experience.

The spicy potatoes are the best!! Try the spicy garlic sauce. Chicken could use improvement on flavor. But I would recommend if you need to jump on the free way and need a quick snack or live in the area. Location is very convenient.
