I am so happy to find a local place with jollof!It is amazing and the perfect comfort food! The meat pies are excellent, and the goat with your jollof is amazing! Would highly recommend if you are seeking good portions and tasty jollof!

Mediterranean and African Cusine but there isn't a single thing on the menu that could be vaguely considered "African". Wasn't great as Shawarma in Box and the new name makes even less sense.

Ordered online and followed the online app tracking to know when to pick it up. Order said it was ready to pick up. My boyfriend had to wait an additional 25 mins for it to be ready.. 45 mins total wait for a pizza & bread.I am assuming the business was sold and there is now a new owner? We ordered the shawarma pizza based on the good reviews and photos. The pizza we got looks nothing like the photos.. we also paid $25 for an extra large and received a large- which we didn’t realize until we got home. By that time we had been waiting so long we didn’t even care to go back and get it fixed. The bread tasted ok flavor wise but was barely warm, which was confusing since we waited 45 mins for the food to be done.. shouldn’t be hot?The chicken Shawarma pizza is basically pizza sauce, cheese, and “shawarma chicken” with lettuce…no garlic, does not really taste or look anything like was described online. Pretty disappointing. If the business was boughtout by someone else i would suggest making that clear and changing the items on the menu if you can’t accurately make them, this leaves customers dissatisfied and not coming back.

Ordered on the website. Apparently they emailed me to say they were out of pepperoni but I was driving to get the food and didn’t see it. So they didn’t make our pizza. Got there and said they didn’t get 2 of the 5 items we ordered. I then provided the order number and receipt showing it all on there.Still charged us for the pepperoni they didn’t have.Took 55 mins total.Food is pretty good.Never apologized.Worst customer service ever.Would not recommend.

Wow! We went today, Sunday, not realizing they were closed - they had inadvertently left the door unlocked for a meeting they were having. Upon apologizing and making for the door, we were told “Oh, you’re not leaving here without food!” and they fired up the grill just for us! While waiting they came around the counter and told us to have two drinks on the house. In short order, two chicken shawarmas came over the counter, I paid and we left.At my daughter’s house, we dug in and… Oh, my! I’ve eaten a lot of shawarma in my day, but NOTHING like these! The pickles in the sandwich were absolutely the best I can recall ever having eaten. There was just enough toum - you could taste it, but it didn’t overwhelm the other flavors in the sandwich. But the star of the show was the chicken. NEVER in all my years of enjoying shawarma do I recall the chicken being so moist! Oh! Wow this was good!Shawarma In A Box is definitely on my radar, and should be on yours, too!

Family run eat in/carry out restaurant (about 3 tables). Owner was more than generous. Shawarma Pizza ???? was worth the try. We will most likely get it again, but we plan on trying other things there as well. Definitely have not tried anything like it which makes it unique in itself. We enjoyed it.Menu is varied enough, but not overwhelming.We will be back.Humble, down to earth owner’s offering great service and unique yet familiar & comforting food.????????
Decided to try this place out, and we were so glad we did!! We had the chicken shawarma pizza and it was DELICIOUS!!! The only thing I would probably change next time is to go lighter on the items and cheese because it was heavy and messy, almost needed a fork to eat it, but taste wise it was the best pizza I’ve had in awhile and we will definitely be trying out everything else on the menu!

The must try place!! We made a quick stop for a quick bite, which turned into an hour stay! The food was soo good, and also, the customer service was above and beyond! Such a humble couple who not only provided us with good food but also tried to pack leftover food as we were trying to pack stuff to head out to Chicago!!!

Great food great service very delicious charbroiled grilled chicken was cooked just right very tender and flavorful their house sauce over the chicken was 10/10 garlic sauce made with perfect texture and flavor. Highly recommend this place I only had the grilled chicken, but from that alone I’m sure EVERYTHING else on the menu is amazing !
