Food is pretty good and the price is reasonable. However we were told no hot tea when we dined in. What Japanese style restaurants don't offer hot tea? Space is kinda small. Decor is kinda dated.

We arrived at the restaurant and we were given the menu, about 3 minutes later we had the first server to come ask if we were ready because we needed more time and he said it was ok not even 30 seconds passed by and another server came back and asked us to place the order because they were going to close but their close time is 9:30 and we arrived at 8:40pm. We went ahead and quickly skimmed through the menu and placed random orders, then our food was served and we were given the receipt not even 5 minutes after receiving our food. We felt pressured to eat and had to go quickly inhale our food and pretty much got kicked out by 9:15pm.

I’ve been coming here for a couple of months now, and I have never had an issue. But my boyfriend ordered the salmon teriyaki which ended up giving him food poisoning.

Although the one who was taking my order by phone had no idea what was on the menu or what I was asking for, the service was not bad. The had a full staff working due to the amount of orders coming in on a Friday evening. The problem is that the fish was not fresh. I ordered a variety of salmon sushi (rolls, sashimi, and ikura). Unfortunately, the fish had a foul smell and left a bad flavor in my mouth. This indicates that it was not fresh and inedible unless you want food poisoning. I also order a cooked dish that was not good because it was heavily salted.Very disappointing since the reviews show 4.7 stars and I drove 30 minutes to indulge. I wasted $60. Be careful. Raw fish that is not fresh WILL make you very sick.

Best sushi place and Asian food in Livonia!! My favorite dishes are Salmon Teriyaki, Orange Dragon, Salmon on the Mountain, Bibimbap, Lobster roll, Katsu, and many more. Cute and great local restaurant!! I will always recommend this restaurant, we have been here for years, great every single time.
