Nice clean place for a bar. Stopped in because they were open late and my wife and I wanted something different. The breaded mushrooms and jalapeño poppers were alright, but nothing special. The seasoned beef tips not so great. Ordered them Medium and they were closer to rare than medium rare. Our waitress was polite, but very disengaged. Each phase from drinks to ordering to waiting for the bill just took too long. I work in a restaurant so I understand people aren’t always at their best, but this felt like it was the norm and not just a rough shift. I wouldn’t make a point to avoid this place, but won’t return unless it’s someone else’s idea.
On all carryout orders Stables has implemented "included gratuity". Unless of course you are drinking inside the bar then this does not apply. Based on this I will order carryout from a restaurant instead. Also hot turkey sandwich was deli meat, kind of disappointed with that. Mashed potatoes were good!
