A family style restaurant, with home-style cooking like we used to get at home. We shop in this area and stop by for lunch. Good sandwiches! Recently, we've stopped for dinner. I'm very fond of their stuffed cabbages. Love them, in fact. Reasonable prices for what you get. I have come to recognize restaurants as a service and contributor to their community. This one does a good job of that.Parking: By the side door.

I went to Steve's to try their baked/breaded pork chops (a Saturday special). I got 2 good sized pork chops that were pretty tender, with a 'small' scoop of mashed potatoes, and nondescript mixed vegetables. The pork chops were covered in sauteed/steamed onions, that tasted OK, but did not really enhance the flavor of the chops as it was too 'oniony'. I think maybe if they substituted some additional green/red peppers for some of the onions (or maybe some other additional flavor, like perhaps sauerkraut?) it would have tasted better. I ended up pushing the onions aside, and asking for some extra brown gravy to put on the pork chops. Overall the chops were good, and fairly priced at $12.79. I got a bowl of cabbage soup (for extra $2.09), which was good, but I added a little salt, and a lot of pepper to perk up the flavor - since I thought the soup was a little bland. Overall the food is good, plentiful, and fairly priced - just needs a little more flavor for my satisfaction. I've had baked pork chops, and cabbage soup, at another Polish restaurant in Plymouth, MI, and I prefer theirs over Steve's. (Steve, just kick up the seasonings a bit. And please, a larger scoop of mashed potatoes would be appreciated). I could only eat 1 pork chop, the 2nd came home for tomorrow. Overall Steve's is a fine restaurant and I will be returning.

I had the ocean perch, it was tasty and not salty like I find in most places. Portion size was good with 3 large filets. Atmosphere was good in that very clean and well lit. Prices were reasonable.

Bend there 3 times,first time got the meatloaf green beans we're over cook,the second time got breakfast food was good the service was bad,there were only 3 people in the hole place,the third time they got the order wrong and took for every to come.
