“Great place for a quick eat on a budget. One of the cheapest places to get breakfast on the island. You can also order your breakfast to go if you don’t want to eat there. The diner is small but the tables turnover ”

“Wow! I had been recommended Pink Pony before but figured it would be typical tourist-area food... you know, everything from Sysco... But this was amazing! The cocktails were superb and the food was delicious! Better than I've had anywhere in northern Michigan. I will make this place a must-stop every time I'm on the island!”

“Took 45 minutes with a bunch of confusion to get a burger and fries. The waitress with kind and accommodating but some of the waitresses we’re eating in the back in the kitchen as we waited.”

“Jason and the cannonball oasis saved our wedding. We didn’t plan on freezing weather at the British landing and he was so kind and gave us shelter and hot chocolate! Best fried pickles ever too! Can’t thank him enough ❤️”

“Bartender/waiter was great, The pretzel bites and cheese and pork "wings" are both different and very good. Steak tips and dirty rice was the fan fave. Yum!, Passion lemonade was also highly rated. Their keg root beer (no alcohol) is seriously amazing.”

“Awesome!!!!! Breakfast sandwiches are great. Cinnamon rolls are the kids favorite - they did seem a tad smaller this year. Coffee options great and I see lunch sandwich options for a quicker bite but haven’t tried this yet. Would recommend. Also conveniently located right below where we stay. Five stars.”

“Good pizza! Expensive, but what on the island isn't. Service was good, it's kind of strange they didn't have trash in the restaurant but ok. Someone walked around and picked it up and it was clean.”

“I had a taste-test date night with my wife. We bought PB fudge from every store on the island and in Mac City. We can say with certainty that Murray Hotel Fudge Company has the best Peanut Butter fudge in the straights. We also agreed that theirs is the creamiest fudge on the island. There are so many flavors, but my favorite is the Cinnamon Bun! Although there was an error in our rather large online order, they proved that their service is excellent by correcting it right away. Latoya was wonderful and helpful. Thanks!!”

“It was a wonderful experience! We had the kids meal and also the 1/4 Mighty Mac. It was definitely one of the most affordable food options on the island. The interior looked so retro, with old photos from around the island. Overall, it was cool experience. If you just want to try it, I would recommend the Kids Hamburger, as it was around $6 for a burger, fries, and a drink. Good deal if you aren’t super hungry! Sorry no photos of the food, it was inhaled shorty after receiving it. One thing I did notice was that their hours are different from online. They were open from 10:30 am to 5 pm, so just be mindful of that.”

“Delicious!!! Got a hamburger and a sugarloaf hotdog. Both were delicious. Fast service and staff was very friendly. Plenty of picnic tables to enjoy a nice lunch in the sun and listen to the waves. Highly recommend and will definitely come back”

“We were up visiting as we celebrated our youngest daughters adoption day. Sanders was kind enough to personalize a cake for us and surprised our girl with a personalized cookie too! Such kind people with delicious goodies!”

“I was pleasantly surprised to see my favourite coffee stop on this small island. It’s located one block from the pier and it’s a small place (little or no seating ), it’s also very busy. Standard Starbucks product - so it’s good.”

“So we decided to go to the Island today 4/2/24 very cold, also definitely off season. We walked around the island trying to site see. We wondered into a pizza shop on the main st. We walked in just before 1:30 pm getting out of the cold and grabbing some lunch for our group of 6. The lady(I didn't catch her name) was so welcoming, even though they were closing at 1:30. She didn't make us feel like we were inconvenient at all. She allowed us to order a pizza and cheesy bread and let us sit and eat. She was so nice and inviting! We appreciate you more than you know! Thank you for delicious lunch and very good chili! We will be back, during business hours next him I promise!”

“We enjoyed a fabulous dinner tonight in the gem of Round Island Kitchen. The “ fall menu” did not disappoint! I enjoyed Salmon prepared with squash purée and lentils. My husband loved the pan-roasted chicken served with barley, squash and spinach. Dessert of Pear cake and Espresso Martini finished our evening. We could not give higher praise to the kitchen or the wait staff. Hurry to see them before the 3024 season comes to a close.”

“Our family of 5 had dinner at Horns Bar last night, 10.25. After a long day of traveling and encountering some very rude customer service on our stops, it was so refreshing to have a server with such enthusiasm and kindness that Lanie showed to our family! She made suggestions, shared stories and invited us back. We come to the island every year and always to Horns Bar and are really looking forward to seeing her again next year! Thank you, Lanie, we would give 10 stars if we could! :)”
