Hearing the buzz about this place, we just had to go.So glad!Located in the Southeast corner of 23 Mile Road and card is a little gem of the place that serves soft served custard and hard serve Ashbys.This local high school gal, Corinna, welcomed us, served us some great flavors and generous scoops.Plus visited with us.This gal is ☀ on a ? day.Super sweetKindFriendly.They even rent out ice cream carts.Plenty of seatsTwo couchesTables.I was surprised to find out that they've been there over 6 years and this was my first visit.Oops

your employees should learn how to dip a cone. i asked for a chocolate with cherry dip in a cone. first of all the ice cream was crocked on the cone. he dipped it it was half off and proceeded to give it to me. it completely fell off the cone. when i told him i didnt want it anymore he asked me why. WHY? what do u mean why? maybe the owner should get employees who are not in highschool and actually care. will not be back! :)

Ordered 3 shakes and both the chocolate shakes were so bland I couldn't even finish it. It was the worst shake I think I ever had. It's a shake idk how that can even happen no chocolate flavor in a chocolate shake is not supposed to happen. And the strawberry one is mediocre my brothers gf said. So three people all say the same thing. I came here to support a small business completely out of my way. I'm at cold stone now because it was that bad. I'm sorry but the owner needs to solve how they make there shakes. Or if it's a bad batch of chocolate ice cream. I don't like leaving reviews like this but the owner or manager needs to know that this is unacceptable.

This is by far one of the worst ice cream shops I've ever been to. I had the so called frozen custard, which was nothing at all like real custard, it was a gooey sickly sweet mess, I should have asked for something else once I tasted it. I ordered a medium size cup and it was barely filled halfway, which was probably good since it was so bad! Husband had an ice cream which had many ice crystals in it indicating it was old and had defrosted and been refroze.Just go to Macdonalds and get a cone or sundae, at least it will be fresh and cheaper than this place.

Really cute store with friendly service. The staff was doing a great job serving 20 people or so right at closing. Unique super tasty flavors that have to be homemade! Definitely a must stop.
UPDATE:6/19/23Management has reached out to me via email, they refunded me for the the slushy and the lemon sorbet without me asking for a refund, they were very apologetic and very professional, and they assured me they educated the girl there and they changed the slushy batch and made a new one, that it’s self is good for me to update my 1 star review to 4, I will go back and give them another chance for sure.I always come to this place and bring my kids and usually the quality is good, I order the lemon sorbet and it tasted like citric acid and ice, I also got the lemon slushy and I was able to get one sip out of it and the rest is ice nothing comes out of the straw, when i tried to complain about the slushy she asked me if I want a spoon, a spoon to eat the ice, I was not expecting to get that type of answer, I will definitely be trying another place next time

Great selection of hard packed ice cream. Seating can get tight but you can always sit on the curb outside. Servings can be inconsistent from cone to cone.Overall, a great place to get some good ole ice cream
