We did not eat here, so this review is for the gift shop and general experience. It was raining when we were there so everyone wanted to be inside, which led to a very long wait at the restaurant. The grounds are fun - you can conversate with the turkeys and pet the goats. They have a train ride, and they also had hay rides and a haunted barn for Halloween. The gift shop is full to the rafters. There is fun cool stuff everywhere, so make sure you give yourself time.
I love everything about this place! As a kid my grandparents used to bring me here for ice cream and to see the animals in the back. I do the same for my kids now. The food is amazing! I little arcade is not the best but that is not even part that makes this place great. They have the ice cream parlor, popcorn and fudge and a beautiful gift shop with lots of cool stuff for everyone. I have also been there for the Christmas show and dinner. I came here all season long with my family in the 90s. As an adult it was nice to show my husband and stepdaughter a place so close to my heart! I chose fall season as first exposure because the grounds didn't seem as packed. The petting area was still full of animals. We all ate afterwards and had a homemade ice cream. I didn't take any pictures of the food it was so delicious I forgot to! Hubby and I are going to check out some dinner theatre next season! Can't wait!
