We were very happy with our lunch & service today. Our server offered us a sample plate before ordering to help us choose our entrée. Mexican pizza w/chicken & beans was delicious & huge. Also enjoyed chips & salsa before our meal. My husband had chicken enchiladas w/spicy salsa verdes. Plenty of food, great quality & fair prices.
You get a LOT OF FOOD for a REALLY LOW price!!! I live in Florida, and this restaurant is in Michigan, so there are definite differences. The first difference is the seasoning of the ground beef... I am NOT implying in ANY WAY that it wasn't good. It's just different than what I'm used to. I am used to AUTHENTIC Mexican food, so that could be the whole issue. I’ve coming here since it was Emilio’s in the 70’s The avocado chalupa is my favorite Mexican dish of all time! The buttered tortillas and jalapeño sauce is the bomb! When I ate meat, I loved the gravy. Best rice I’ve ever had. Love this place!!!
