First time here today 03/27/24. The service was EXCELLENT, very friendly nice young woman. I ordered the eight piece wings which looked and tasted like coney island wings ugg. Also I got the seafood platter which was one piece of catfish, eight pieces of shrimp, fries and hush puppies. The fries were soggy and looked like everything else was all cooked together, not happy. Also, I got the gumbo with shrimp which was delicious. I spent $44.65 when I could have made this at home with the frozen foods I have. Unfortunately I won't be returning.
Such a gem! This little spot in downtown Mount Clemens is such a great restaurant. The atmosphere is top notch, while it may seem small, it has two nice wings that bring you between bright and cozy to lowly lit and romantic. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Best cornbread I've ever had and their hush puppies are what hush puppies should be, at least this far north! Highly recommend you go and go again. The service was friendly and responsive too. Will definitely be going back myself!

Went to Gumbo's for the first time last Friday. They had a large party that was putting it to their kitchen. Things were a little backed up and we never noticed until our waiter apologized for the wait and offered us a beer on the house. That is great customer service! We ordered a trio sampler with jambalaya, red beans & rice, and étouffée, a catfish & shrimp dinner, and a side of collard greens. Instead of taking the waiter up on the beers I asked for a piece of corn bread. OMG! Everything was hot, fresh and tasty. But y'all, those greens and that cornbread!!! I will be back especially for those. On a side note, the amazing catfish and shrimp came with french fries which are typically a filler or side note for most restaurants, but not here. They were hot, crispy and perfect seasoned. We will definitely be back!

Ordered Catfish , Mac n cheese and hush puppies, greens. - Catfish 6/10 I would suggest frying the fish hard so the breading doesn't become soggy. Overall taste was great , seasoning was also good. Greens 8/10 great flavor Mac N Cheese 8.7/10 So good. Love the cheese flavors I would suggest maybe adding smoked paprika to the cheese blend

Sign caught my eye. " greens are back", they should have stayed where they were. Processed. Canned at best. No flavor what so ever. Bacon fried upon ordered, and dropped in cup. Little pepper and salt would have helped. Flavor on this, is a true indicator of the rest of the menu,
