I wanted to like this place so bad. The catfish tastes super fishy like it’s under cooked. The Mac and cheese (when they have it) is bland and they recently discontinued the dressing. Was disappointed the last time I ordered from here.The inside of the place isn’t welcoming either. Painted red with bulletproof glass and metal bars.

Absolutely not! I ordered fried catfish that should’ve been fried a little longer it was unseasoned and slimy, greens tasted canned with old random turkey pieces in it…. the macaroni and cheese( or lack there of)lacked cheese and flavor.. the” pound cake “was disgusting, dry and sponge like. I think I would have felt better if I just drove up Gratiot doing 55 mph and threw my money out the window at least it would have been found and used for something because I wasted money patronizing that place! The food used to be great! I wonder what happened ? hmm

Mac n chezz was dry and super bland,the yams were ok but everybody flavors things different but I still wouldn’t get them again and the turkey wing was flavored great but a lil to dry I like mine juicy and falling off the bone…service was nice and friendly and didn’t take

I wish I would’ve took a picture of my food. I ordered the wing dinner with yams & dressing. The dressing was wet and created a nasty texture. The yams tasted pretty good, the chicken looked like it was cooked in old grease and taste like it. Not sure if the food was old but 30 mins after consuming I feel some type of food poisoning. First and last time trying it.

I and my son visited ribs and soul as something new to try rib tips was to die for greentender and flavorful.and we finished it off with something different strawberry banana pudding. Hats off to the chef ibeed doingthis industry for a long time they have it .thank you rib and soul from son who eats anything and dad who's mr
