My husband and I stopped by The Quarry Grill for lunch for the first time mid-week while traveling through the Mt Pleasant area. We could not have had a better experience. We sat outside on the large patio that overlooked the course. My husband had an amazing Southwest Chicken Salad and I had Chef Ben's (Spicy!) Chicken Sandwich (at the recommendation of Erin against other tough choices). The menu punched above it's weight for a lunch menu and Erin made the afternoon a perfect unexpected pleasure. My husband and I can't say enough positive things about The Quarry Grill and wonderful grounds. Erin also recommended nice things in the area and ways to enjoy the holiday with local events. Looking forward to our next visit!

This place hosts a lot of weddings, it is a little pricey but the food is excellent and well worth it.

There is only 1 restroom and it's unisex in the reception room. The other bathrooms are a long way away so be ready to walk a ways out of the hall to use the restroom.

Golf course and pro shop was great. Dinner was below average at best. Dinner role was frozen in the middle, never receive the potato. Hostess was good. Waitress service was terrible. Had to wait a long time for our order to be taken, alway had to wait long periods of time for any kind of service. Refilling the water an so on. Not attentive at all.

It is my habit, to express objective comments on our restaurant experiences whatever they turned to be. Our dinner at the Quarry Grill was one of clear disappointment. One that will most likely we will not repeat. We sat at a table in the "Patio". The chairs are plastic light ones and feel somewhat flimsy. The table was not set for dinner and felt "woobly". We asked our young waitress to do something and somehow she managed to make it more stable. The food was of low quality and some did not taste fresh or well prepared. But the appearance at the table was somewhat attractive. My order was a cup of Chili, and the weekend's special, "Prime Rib". My wife and I decided to share an appetizer of salmon cakes. She also ordered the prime rib. My Chili not tasted fresh, and it was supposed to have cream and green onions, well someone forgot about those ingredients. It all tasted like coming out of a can, also, it was not served warm enough. There was something on the taste of the salmon cakes that did not settle well in my stomach, for hours, I had a mustard-like aftertaste in my mouth. The bed of lettuce served with the cakes did not look fresh, and the lemon wedge to sprinkle on the cakes, looked at least several hours old, perhaps longer. The dinner rolls however, were very warm and quite good. Over the years, my wife and I have enjoyed prime-rib at many restaurants, most recently at a place in Orlando Fl. In all our previous experiences, the prime-rib is best when served piping hot and quite moist with meat juices. The one we got at the Quarry Grill was neither. It was rather tepid and dry, and the vegetable medley served with it was essentially raw. I expected these to be properly steamed. Another bothersome detail on my plate was the mashed potatoes. This had some residues in it that looked very much like potato skins. We can not recommend the Quarry Grill at all. It would have to improve a lot to be an inviting and desirable restaurant. The food is rather mediocre in quality, the service feels very "amateurish", the ambiance was rather noisy. We decided not to try the desserts. The bill came along with a couple of extremely hot moist towels, so much so, that even after a few minutes were still too hot to touch. We left them unused at the table. Also, after examining the bill, we found out that any extra dinner rolls are charged separately. For us, the experience, food, and service, did not justify the bill. We traveled some distance to get there from home, and for sure, we will not return.

The wife loved the Birdie Cocktail. Their smoked salmon appetizer was amazing and prime rib was spot on. The steak strip salade with potato was also excellent.

She made wedding planning really easy which made it easier for me to enjoy the special moments during wedding planning. She promptly responds to emails and calls.
