“In another post, I told you about a best friend of mine who recently passed away at the young age of 66. This was his most favorite place in the whole world! Lefty and Romo's put up with a lot from my friend, he was known to knock down a few, but they still treated him with respect and acted like they were genuinely happy to see him when he visited the joint! That made him feel good although he never said anything, I know it did because they had every right to permanently ban him on several occasions but instead made sure he got home safely, so he could come back with his dignity. That's pretty unheard of in this day and time, so Kudos to an establishment who treats their regulars like that! The other night we went with a whole group and I just got appetizers. Everyone else got dinners and sandwiches. I've eaten there before and have always enjoyed my food but maybe I just wasn't in the mood to try the gator but I didn't like it very much, it just didn't feel good in my mouth and not much taste. Other people in the group, however, really enjoyed the appetizer. Also, I ordered clam strips as an appetizer and they even warn you on the menu that they may be chewy. They did taste good but having to chew excessively like that was too much work for a lazy eater like me, so I gave up after awhile. As always, the service was excellent, they were very busy, packed, but that didn't make any difference to our service or our food being served in a reasonable timeframe. Lefty and Romo's is a great place to go have some cocktails, have a quick meal or a leisurely dinner with friends and/or family. Pretty comparably priced to most restaurants of their kind and if you haven't visited at least once, you should make it a point to go. I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed!“
“Absolutely amazing! The interior of this place is royal and gives a great speakeasy vibe. It was super busy and a bit noisy on a Saturday night. The food was amazing, and the service was good too! I'd recommend this place for sure, get a reservation beforehand to avoid the wait. I parked on the street, but it was safe to do so.“
“Had a great time eating lunch with my bride and our kids (aged 13 & 14). Good burgers, good fries, good drinks and good service.Parking: On-street parking worked well for us at lunch during the week over a holiday break, but I could see where it could be challenging during the evening to find a spot.Kid-friendliness: Our kids had no problem finding something to eat.“
“This place is always packed! But if you're going in to order food to take out and you don't mind having a drink, then you'll be pleased with this bar and grill all around! We always go when we know we're there to order the burgers to go but aren't in any hurry and usually enjoy at least one drink before we even order.Hands Down, The 46 makes the best hamburgers I have ever had the pleasure to eat in the entire city, probably county! In earlier posts I have said I was a purist, so I get to really taste the meat itself. They must use a really superior grade of hamburger because the taste is superb! I like my meat touched briefly on the heat both sides, leaving it pretty much raw inside. With a sprinkle of salt and pepper and a fresh, warm bun, my perfect burger is finished! If the restaurant is worried about the raw meat and medium is the rarest they'll go, I'll get something else... but since the 46 Bar doesn't care whether I live or die from food borne illnesses, they make the perfect burger! My boyfriend likes his burgers medium/well and slathered with condiments and he still thinks the 46 Bar makes the best burgers around! If you haven't been there or if you have and not indulged in one of their burgers, you have to try one, just so you can try a superior grade of meat into burger!“
“UPDATEWe decided to try it again. This time was a complete game changer. Our waitress, Jasmine, was very knowledgeable about gluten-free and what could be made. She was very transparent with us about the menu. We will definitely be returning our next visit ro Michigan. There's a HUGE difference in an intolerance and an allergy. I'm allergic to gluten, which means I can NOT eat it. I wish the servers knew the difference when they put an order on. Unfortunately, my family will never eat here again. Horrible place to eat if you have any type of allergy.“
“I ordered online and pickup was easy and fast.I ordered Pork and Beef PT Tacos, Street Corn Nachos and Chicharonnes. The Tacos were a bit lacking but still really good. The Chicharonnes were an amazing sharable food, the flavor wasn't too over the top but still really good and pleasant. But God Damn, the Street Corn Nachos were to die for!!!! It was loaded with amazing ingredients from top to bottom! Each ingredient plays off the other. If you get one thing get the Street Corn Nachos, you will not regret it ❤️“
“What a great place to eat! There are always great options for various styles of food and fare. The staff are always well prepared and friendly. It's nice to see a locally-owned and operated business that is well-supported and does such a wonderful job. Keep up the great job and we can't wait to go back!“
“Had the Texas burger and it was one of the top 2 or 3 burgers I have ever had, including my own. I was full but still wanted just one more bite. It was that good. Was served with crinkle fries which were ok but some good hand cut or curly fries would have complemented that delicious burger much better.Dietary restrictions: Wife has gluten allergies, had a burger and said it was good and the bun was better then most. Was thick enough as to not fall apart as some do. Was most like a regular bun.“
“This was our first visit and really didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised how delicious the food was and how much fun adults can have here! Yay! Did I mention that the burger was better than 5 guys, for real!Kid-friendliness: Bring your kids too!“
“Our lunch experience was excellent at 794 Kitchen. The menu had a larger selection and a variety of options. We had the French dip, mushroom and Swiss smash burger, chicken strips with onion rings, and a kid’s cheese burger. Our food came out correct, hot, and tasted great. Our waitress was also very good, I think her name was Kate. She was attentive, friendly, and let us know about menu choices and if there were up charges for things such as extra sauce. The atmosphere was nice, bright, and clean. There were large windows along the two exterior walls with table seating and then high tops in the middle. There was a larger bar as well with seating. We will definitely go back and will recommend to others. I wish I had remembered to take some pictures.“
“Stop #22 on our Hundreds of Hops 2024 self-guided US Hop Passport Tour The space is phenomenal. It's large & well thought out with whimsical touches. I can see it getting packed, tho it was relatively quiet on a Sunday afternoon. The barkeep was friendly and certainly wasn't pretentious. I half expected the ole "Ghostbusters whaadya want" line, but we were met instead with more of a "where are you from, where have you been & have you been here before" greeting. Our beer was decent, falling mid-range, and we didn't get any food. If I were in the neighborhood, I'd go back, but I wouldn't make a special trip to go.“
“Wow! What a hidden gem! This greasy spoon has so much to offer. The best pizza in town, great drinks and appetizers too! The customer service is out of this world, and it was so nice to be able to sit and relax at a place that is local. Highly recommend the potato skins and the everything pizza. you have to check this place out!“
“A great place to stop in to get out of the heat and get a cold one. The bartender was the only staffer and she rocked it! My guys got a pizza and a sandwich they happily noshed down. My husband and I shared an order of chips and salsa that did not disappoint. Cold drinks, yummy food and happy, attentive service! Stop in, you'll be happy you did.“
“If it has been a minute since you have been to Nauty's, you need to stop by because the inside has been beautifully updated. If that doesn't do it for ya, sit at the bar & Missy will make you a drink & have you laugh until you cry. Oooh, & karaoke on Saturdays!“
“Schultz Haus is one of those hole in the wall places that has been around for decades! It is a bar good for playing pool and having a few drinks. The best part is they rent out their kitchen to the old restaurant "Flamingos." Although Flamingos no longer has their physical location, they still have their amazing family recipes that they are pleased to serve the community every other Saturday from the Schultz Haus kitchen! The chips with meat and gravy is my favorite on the menu. The tacos are fabulous! The pricing is fair for Flamingos for authentic food. Schultz Haus also has multiple television to watch sports. The staff are friendly and the drinks are reasonably priced. Be careful, lots of giant potholes on the road they are on!!“
“The food was very good..the staff was wonderful. I did catch my pants on a nail sticking up out of the chair seat. Tore a hole in them. Was not happy about that as they were new. When I said something to our waitress it was basically ignored. I will try to go back again.... hopefully they will have done something about their chairs.Parking: A good area for parking. As far as I could tell no handicap parking and no way to get in if you have a wheelchair.“
“Tight quarters but still able to hold a conversation with each other and not feel intrusive. Started with an old fashion, not the best I've ever had but good and it looks great in a photo ?. We also had the buffalo wings which were delicious. The clam chowder was ok and just a little above room temperature.Hubby had the yellow belly perch with onion rings ands he thought it was very delicious, and I agree! I had the shrimp Mediterranean style and that was also wonderfully yummy.Service was very friendly and even with the busy restaurant she (I'm doing bad lately with names, sorry) did a great job keeping up with all tables.Prices are average with dinners around $20-$25. Since we came in the winter it didn't seem to be too busy, however the tables were always full but we got a table right away. Parking can be tight, especially if it gets real busy but if you find a spot...stay for a delicious meal.“
“I love coming here after waking up hungover. The drinks are affordable and the tacos remind of the tacos i used to get from this ice cream place in the early 90's. Unpretentious bar food, affordable drinks, and excellent service every time I've gone. What more could you want?“
“Mariah-1 review-21 hours ago-NEWBartender was the rudest person I’ve ever seen behind a bar. I personally will never go back. If they don’t appreciate the customers I will take my money elsewhere. So how many people were working? How many customers?“
“I'm surprised this place doesn't have higher ratings! It's a fun, little place with a cool vibe to grab pizza and try some different beers. They have TVs and you can watch a game. We have eaten here a handful of times and love it. However, full disclosure we have only tried the pizza but it has always been delicious. The service is good. I can't think of anything about it that was over the top good or bad.“
“Food was great as always. The service review was based on the speed of the food coming out. There were a number of tables that waited an hour plus for their meals. The friendly staff seemed to not be around to even refill drinks while we all waited. Once you are waiting for food and not drinking, the atmosphere tends to decline. Frustration was in the air. Though we love the food at this place, the speed of service declined in the past year.“
“Great hole in the wall place. Can't complain about the service/food at all. The atmosphere wasn't terrible at all. It's better than most bars I've been to. It wasn't busy at all, which made it a great environment to sit and catch up with friends. It was also significantly cheaper than most other places I've been to, even in the area.“
“We enjoyed the Thanksgiving day buffet. The food was very good. The staff was amazing. There was a problem with our reservation and they had us at a table that wouldn't hold 4 adults. The manager (Patrick)and server (Mikayla) found us a new table and made the whole experience really enjoyable. I highly recommend coming here for any holiday buffet. The view of the golf course was great!“
“Everyone goes here for Rebel Road/Bike Time. During this time it's just a backyard full of people drinking and socializing with no band or DJ. Would be so much better if they had a DJ just for these 3 days. Never been there any other time.“
“Drinks were good, and the July 4th event they were doing was fun, but we didn't get the right food in several ways and had waited so long up to that point that we no longer had time to get it corrected. I will give some excuse since it was a holiday, but it was not that busy inside and it took the servers quite some time each time to see us even though we were sitting right next to the servers prep area.I would recomend for drinks or bar breakfast, but doesn't give "brunch" vibes at all.“
“Stopped in to try the St. Patrick's Day menu. Went with the burger with the corned beef added onto it. (Sorry, I can't recall the name of it!) In a word - awesome!! And the mint mousse dessert "for two" was big enough for, at least, three! Also incredible!! Service was amazing, too, from the bartender! Loved everything about it!!“
