My family and I (2 adults and 3 kids and a baby in a car seat) walked at 1045 on a Sunday- March 17th… they were not very busy at all… I’m sure it would have been great if we could have had service within 25 minutes we were there- we walked out at 11:05am with our 4 children in tow— not a coffee or water served. We were given menus and ignored while a table that walked in 10 minutes after us was given great service (must have been locals)0 stars from my 3 hungry kids

March 4, 2024. This is rather difficult to write and explain. I'll do my best. A friend and I met for breakfast. I had a usual, just scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and toast. All was very good. My bill $10.60 which was very reasonable. Service was good. My friend's story is different. She had a meatlovers omelet without ham and she always asks for an English muffin instead of toast.. The waitress says, No problem. Food came in a timely manner and her's also tasted very good. She then asked for a take home box and also another muffin to go. Waitress again says, No problem. When she got her check, it was $26!! There was an up charge of $2. for the first muffin exchange instead of getting toast and she was charged $5.00 for the "take home" English muffin! Her breakfast cost her $30.00! (with tip) We did inquire about the bill. The waitress just stated in a matter-of-fact manner that, I don't set the prices, I just work here". She was nice but not empathetic by any means. I guess next time we will ask if there are extra charges when an item is substituted. Also, being charged $5.00 for an extra English muffin, she should have been given the rest of the pack to take home! The experience left us both wondering if we will return again and slightly taken advantage of.

You can't miss picking the Cherokee for breakfast. Food is always on point, they have very friendly staff, and an atmosphere that can't be found anywhere else in the Universe! Keep the service tight and keep those tongs a tongin' in the kitchen, Cherokee!

Stopped going to this restaurant a couple years ago after several poor experiences....used to be my favorite. Been back twice and have been pleasantly surprised to have it be a great breakfast joint again. If you haven't been in a while, it's time to try the Cherokee again.
