The food is worth the wait time.The price is RIGHT!! The BEST cornbread! The BEST mac and cheese! The breading on the catfish was AMAZING!! Burnt ends melted like butter, and the sauce is phenomenal! Hands down the best! Will be returning again. I can't wait to try the cake my husband was raving about!

We ordered a 2 pc catfish, sides yams and greens… the greens are sweet and the catfish was freshly cooked, but heavily battered. It took about 25 min for order. I got a side of dresssing with gravy…. It’s 2 outta 10. Taste like sage and gravy.

Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in Muskegon. The seasoning on the chicken and pork chops is addicting! Also, I could eat a whole pan of corn bread. I love filling up my reward card too, for a free meal. ❤️

Poor customer service! I ordered the catfish dinner also the smothered chicken through DoorDash.The catfish was extremely salty with a yellowish powder on it. I called to take the dinner back for a refund. She told me to take it up with DoorDash. Are you serious when the food came from your nasty place ?

I went in for the crack chicken! I ordered a 9 wings and fry. The chicken barely had any crack season on it. I always drive to Grand Rapids for crack chicken, so I was happy to hear that Corine's had crack chicken but due to the chicken not being fried harder as it was still wet on the inside. Not crispy, not fried hard, with barely no crack season. I thought they forgot the season that's how light the season on it was. I will just stick to the 40min drive to Grand Rapids unfortunately.

I heard about Corine's on the news and was really excited to try their cakes and support a local business that was in the revitalization of Muskegon heights. I've been talking about it on my YouTube channel, and anything I can do to support the community, I'm all for.I felt like a kid walking into the bakery because of all the cake and cookie options AND THE PORTION SIZES. MY GOODNESS. When you pay for a piece of cake, you're going to get a piece of cake.I settled on a frosted cookie with a cute little sunflower on it and a heaping slab of red velvet cake.Like a cookie monster, I ate the cookie in my car and felt the sugar rush. It was amazing. I'm not sure how I lived my life not knowing about this place. I think I would have done well with an unsweetened tea that they offered, but that was a foresight error on my part.I took the cake home, and had to fight off my cat from trying to eat it from under me. It was delicious and I savored it. To say that I'll be back to try the other flavors is an understatement.That not everybody hasn't some of this deliciousness is a darn shame because it made my Sunday beautiful.Oh, wonderful. Thank you so much.I wish I had had the foresight to take pictures before I ate my food. I'll try to get some next time.

BEST chicken I think I've EVER had!! I'm picky with coleslaw and normally don't like it but this place has good coleslaw as well! Definitely will return in the near future!!
I just had a two piece catfish plate with green beans and baked beans and my wife had the same thing with macaroni and cheese and greens. Baby, that was the best meal I done had in six months and it was so good I highly recommend sitting down and eating, the ambience and the people are excellent. This is a Hidden jam. The highlight is how good the food is.

This lady sold me chicken that was OLD! I'd placed an online order of two 12 piece wing meals that was to be done at 2:50pm but instead I received a text message only 3 minutes after ordering stating that the order was ready. Id been hesitant to even complain about the chicken because Id already had to alert her that they'd not given me another item that I'd purchased. Corine denied accountability, put up a facebook post of the incident making herself out to be a victim, promised resolve for customers seeing her post then blocked me the customer that she'd wronged. I'd only had good experiences before this. Had patronized the business three times. In my case the third time wasn't a charm.
