This is one of my favorite fast lunch places. It is good bbq, but not like your favorite slow cook place in Memphis or KC, but it is surprisingly good. Fried pickles, fried okra, and anything else fried has been EXCELLENT. I don't know how they do it, but I wish they would share the secret with every burger place for great crispness and consistency.If you want bbq for lunch or dinner, fast, this is worth a try. My favorite so far is the brisket sandwich.
The GM here is terrible with a horrible attitude. They will get your food wrong and blame you.

The lady claiming to be the GM was completely out of line and RUDE! they gave out old food that looked disgusting and then she tried to blame the customer. She was so unprofessional and the way she treats customers is absolutely disgusting! She should not work in the service industry, much less be a manager!

Hope the white lady that claimed she was a manager that was being rude to a Customer named GiGi is FIERD !!!!! NOT professional at all !!! Saw the video & it was disgusting on how she was acting towards customers.
This store has a failed in management. The city will be called for giving out cold food. I understand Dickeys doesn’t get much business, but it doesn’t give the right to hand out cold food and laugh at customers that’s disgusting behavior and I hope another manager takes over or the store is shut down in general. As a manager or supposed to be there to serve and help out customers and lady you have done the exact opposite ! She will Reap her Karma! I will make sure my family will never spend another penny there.

The young man who was preparing the meat I bought was very nice and personable. The person he was looking to for “leadership” seemed very stressed and short with me. I asked for a family size of the BBQ beans and he said, “No. I barely have enough for a Large.” After a few min I asked the man cutting the meat to give me a large and was told, “ we have to have beans to sell for the sides!” I was buying a side of beans so that was confusing. I did end up with the beans but the leader acted like I was a bother for tutting them. Going down the list of food I ordered. Pork ribs were inedible. They were like jerky and so dry! , The Jalapeño cheddar sausage was good and had the right amount of heat and flavor, the Brisket was sliced and 90% was sliced with the grain not against it making it very hard to eat. The parts cut properly were good and with your sauce had nice flavor. The BBQ beans were ok but nothing special. The corn muffins had good flavor but the piece of corn in them were so dry and hard they had to be spit out to enjoy the rest of the muffin. I realize you as with most places are short staffed. However, short staffed should not mean short with paying customers and food that is inedible!

They have great food here and the cooks are top knotch!!! Some of the other employees, like the ones at the register are a little dopey, like their high. I've encountered this with at least 2 of them. I keep coming back though, the food is great! I worry though that this may deter other people from the establishment. I recommend the pulled pork sandwich. I think if Dickies would revamp their menu to make it easier to read and train the register people to be more helpful with the customers there reviews would be better. Also the cooks need additional training in how to cut the brisket against the grain so it is not tough. It sounds like, by these reviews, these 3 things are contributing to some bad reviews. I really like their food and know about their menu otherwise I wouldn't have posted a review.
