“Hodge Podge has been my favorite local bakery ever since I was small! My friends and I used to ride our bikes over to pick up one of their pragel sandwiches, which has become a staple of my childhood. The service is amazing and the baked goods are some of the best in Muskegon (sorry not sorry Ryke’s)! Their Southwest Gobbler sandwich is one of THE BEST sandwiches I’ve had and is an amazing treat for the warm spring weather. Hodge Podge will be one of the main things I’ll miss when I go away to college, so please pay them a visit for me haha!“
“The donuts here are phenomenal, some days they sell out completely before you can even make it there. Even the donut holes are above average. I thought I could save some to eat for the next day and I kept going back for more until they were gone! They also have cookies, muffins, loaves of bread, rolls, and other bakery items. They even had some gluten free items the last time I was there. They have an area with a bunch of neat things you can buy, all local vendors I assume. And then on the other side they have a room that you can sit and enjoy your food and drink. There aren't a ton of seats for that, but I think most people don't stick around anyway. It's a busy place - whenever I go, it's a constant stream of customers in and out of the door. The customer service was just okay, to be honest. But you forget about that once you take a bite of your baked good.“
“They have top tier customer service! I had an issue with a DoorDash order and they were on the phone with DoorDash trying to resolve it before I even contacted their store. Theresa is absolutely wonderful and takes great care of their customers. My issue was resolved incredibly fast. I can’t say enough good things about them!“
“Dockside is a great place for a delicious sandwich (sammie) and superb coffee. The operators are kind and friendly. Buy the beans and take them home to brew! A lakeside staple ✨Vegetarian options: Donuts are vegetarian and they have vegan breakfast sausage patties“
