Ordered soft scramble eggs and when the order arrived they were like cardboard. The waiter quickly took care of it, but by the time my new order arrived I had eaten most of my food which would have been cold.

First thing our server said to us was that she was having a bad day and I said I was sorry so I gave her a little bit of leeway but when I still didn’t get to place my order after 50 minutes I was done and told her that we were leaving, if she could still get drinks for other tables being seated there was no reason why she couldn’t take our order. When I told her we were leaving she said no don’t leave I will get you a dessert we told her we didn’t want anything for free she said no it’s not for free I said no we’re leaving we need to go have dinner somewhere, I come here quite often and never have l had this type of service then when the hostess said people just don’t understand well honey I do understand I’m in the service industry also and if my help did this I would not be happy with you at all so I do understand!!

Tuesday, 3/26/24 @ about 8 pm I ordered a slim gem. When I opened the sandwich it was not as advertised. There was no tomato, lettuce or mayo.Very disappointed.

I used to work at Russ's when I was 19 years old they basically have the same food as they had when I was 19 years old working there for them the biggest problem I see is with the waitresses they will stand there at the cash register staring at you and they never come over and ask you if you'd like to have another cup of coffee but when you go up and pay your bill they already have the tip for the waitress on the bill I don't like that idea it's up to you what do you give the waitress a tip I told him to take the tip off pp and I've never been back since it's been about 3 years Russell Jackson shut down or change their menu I'll never go there again and never recommended this restaurant to anyone Joe

My all time favorite ? You can't beat the homestyle food, the excellent service and the reasonable prices.
I’ve frequented this restaurant since I was a child and I’m now in my 40’s and I still love it just as much as I did back when I was still a child. I’ve NEVER had any problems or issues at all there. The prices are the cheapest in town as they make it affordable for our senior citizens or for those on a tight budget with a family as it’s also kid friendly. The dessert menu is by far the best in town! You can’t go wrong eating at Russ’ in Muskegon or any other Russ’ restaurant outside of your city. I would however like to see the one in town renovated to look more modern, but that doesn’t bother me in reality considering the fact that it’s pure nostalgia for me. ?

Typically Russ’ has always been a staple in my life for good food, for a good price, and great service. Tonight however had awful experience. Waited 25 minutes for ordering drinks on top of another 15 minutes for food order with two toddlers. This turned out to a grand total of 2 hours in the restaurant. Hoping this is was a one off experience.
