The inside is so cute and cozy. They seated us around a little open fire. Servers were quick and kind, we had 4 kids...one being a bit of an unruly 4 year old. They were patient. The shrimp app was the best part but the bruschetta was very good also. The handsome hottie pizza was lack luster but perch was good as were the boneless wings. Overall a fun little stop.

Amazing local restaurant. We usually try to go here at least once a week. Favorite appetizer is the marinara goat cheese with cheesy pepper crackers. The 2 for $24 special is a great value and their pastas are exceptional. They are also one of the best pizza places in the area, so they get a lot of our business! Ask for Drake if you want the best possible service ;-)

This is from Thursday night. It was very busy and we arrived around 5:40 ish. We only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. There was a very large party next to us. Our waitress was working with them as well. Although our waitress was nice she often forgot about us. We waited a significant amount of time for simple things like drinks, refills, plates and a box. We also waiting a while to put in our order. She apologized for the delay and for forgetting us but it kept happening. My party ordered pizza and appetizers and they really enjoyed the pizza. I ordered the three combo plate(see pic). It was good but I was disappointed with the size of the sides for that amount of money. I feel like I want to go back for a different experience.

Good food, Great service but the atmosphere is old style. It's so quiet in there you can hear a pin drop and there was no one the restaurant but they seated the next people that came in right next to us...? That was super crazy.. why would you do that? Like sharing a large booth area with 2 tables. A group of 8 adults then a family with kids when there was every other seat available in the entire restaurant.Food: the food was good, but don't order a rare steak, it was medium, at best. Everything else was a great portion, and very good.I'll try it again when it's summer and maybe the outdoor seating area is better? Will reportDietary restrictions: Petty much everything has cheese so if you're dairy-free there is limited itemsParking: Parking is scarce because there is a bar right next door, so you have to walk a ways to get in and you can't park a truck certain ways in certain parking spotsKid-friendliness: Kids were there & there was a kids menu .. It's so hard to like Chicago style pizza when you are not in Chicago. This one was meh. I asked for pepperoni and mushrooms and got pepperoni and sausage. Not a deal breaker. Didn't love the tomato sauce nor the extra oregano on the top. Crust was ok. Teddy salad was a great add on. The half priced wine bottles probably made the meal a 3 stars.Waitress was nice and interior of restaurant is comfortable. Quick service.

Wendy and I shared a deep dish pizza. Again I was amazed by the layers of flavor that was in that little 10 inch pizza. Best pizza I've had in a long time. The place was alive and full of laughter. Yet our server was excellent in keeping up with our needs ... always with a smile on her face. I will go back to Handsome Hobo's and recommend you go give it a try also.

Good food and decent prices. I'd highly recommend the Mac & Cheese Pizza! Service was pretty good too, but we went on my birthday and two of us split a pizza. Despite 5 other people at our table, because we split bills the manager didn't want to give me the birthday discount because our bill didn't have two meals on it (just multiple appetizers, drinks, and a pizza). It wasn't worth arguing about, but I'll certainly think twice about going back.
